Mont Hartman assumed the role of Project Manager soon after we designed and contracted for what was then planned to be a limited condominium remodel. Mont brought himself “up to speed” quickly and then reached out to us to meet and refine our goals and the scope of our project. Throughout our renovation Mont was responsive, respectful and creative. His vision, team leadership, broad range of knowledge in all areas of our project (design, permitting, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, counters, tile, flooring, painting, electronics, etc.) and problem-solving skills were the critical factors that have led to a wonderful outcome with which we are very pleased. As is often the case, our project changed and expanded as we proceeded. Mont handled these modifications smoothly and efficiently and with good humor. Mont also needed to deal with some unusual additional challenges. The project was undertaken in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic with resultant difficulties in coordination and supervision of subcontractors, supply chain disruptions and safety concerns. In addition, the bulk of this renovation was undertaken remotely, since our primary residence during this project was in NYC. Nevertheless, Mont was able to keep us well-informed and involved on all aspects of the project with his regular texts, detailed emails, pictures and FaceTime calls. “Working with Shannon & Ken Dixon at RenoPros was a very pleasant experience. I used them last year for hurricane damage from Ian. My lanai roof was blown off completely. Ken & Shannon gave me a fair quote, during the time when other repair people were ripping off customers during these trying times. The aluminum replacement was ordered and I was kept informed during entire process. They also replaced my floor in lanai. They did such a good job that I had them install my kitchen back splash and had them arrange for the outside of my manufactured home to be painted while I was back in Ohio. “When my husband and I bought a very small apartment size condo in Bradenton, Florida, we knew we would have a daunting task of renovating the 40 year old kitchen and 2 baths. The kitchen actually had wooden counters! Rather then spreading the work out over several months, we decided to have all the work done at one time. This meant we were faced with half of the condo being being under construction at the same time, and wouldn't be able to live there during this process. so we needed a contractor that we were sure was trustworthy and would do an excellent job. After interviewing about five contractors and searching on-line we met and hired Rick Parcels owner of RJM Contractors. He worked with us to come up with a plan that we could afford and that met all our needs as far as storage and design. His work was done on time and he e-mailed us with his progress and took pictures as he went along. As problems arouse with granite suppliers and the structure of a 40 year old building, he was on top of it. When inspecting the finished project I was pleased to see every corner mitered perfectly and my counters were level. Rick was easy to work with and definitely knows his job well. He anticipated problems we hadn't even thought of. My husband and I would definitely hire him again and would gladly refer him to family and friends.”
