“Matthew repainted our solid wood kitchen cupboard doors in March 2016 and we were extremely pleased with his work. It's like having a brand-new kitchen without all the hassle of replacing cabinets. The paint finish is superb, clearly done by a professional. Matthew took away all the removable doors and painted them in his workshop, then came to our house over 5 days to paint the remaining parts. He was always punctual, very quiet, tidy and meticulous. We were particularly impressed by the lack of mess and dust which we had expected, seeing as the woodwork had to be sanded down first. We were also impressed by Matthew's flexibility in that we asked him to do a few additional bits of work, e.g. sanding down kitchen stools for us, and he kept to his original quoted fee. He returned as promised two weeks later to check on the job and do one or two additional finishing touches. We would definitely recommend Matthew for this kind of work.
