“Rob Jacob of JLS Design took on a tricky project, in that plans of the existing house had to be drawn up, plans for the new development drawn up, the necessary planning permission sought and the services of a structural engineer utilised for the base platform and steel work to be used. Rob not only gained all the necessary planning permission but also co-ordinated the project in conjunction with the structural engineer, welders and builder I had selected, the end result is stunning and has added tens of thousands onto the value of the house and completely transformed it for me to another dimension of living. The project consisted of a large first floor balcony and spiral staircase leading to a new tiled patio beneath. The project has added around 32m2 of new outdoor usable space to the house.
