“James and his team built a two-storey side extension to our 1930s home. We spent a lot of time researching local builders and we are so pleased we found JMB Design & Build. However busy he is, James is always contactable and responsive and he has a keen eye for detail. James worked to our budget for which we are very grateful. During the build we were able to add a room in the newly created loft space which has been a huge bonus and James was great at finding creative solutions to make it work. The end result is a lovely family home that has retained its original features but it now fit for modern life. I would recommend James and his team highly. “Simon leads an efficient and proactive team. His team conducted a multi-month garage conversion which was fantastic. They were adaptable to changes in scope and the budget fluctuations were minimal. Comms on changes in budget, options and timings were clear and timely - a no-stress operation. Excellent!”

“So building work is fraught with fear, worry, anxiety and stress, but from the get go Plus Rooms impressed us by being able to calm our nerves. From the initial visual plans in our first meeting, to comprehensive schedules, detailed kick off meetings and weekly site visits. The building team became like Rockstars in the house and were amazing with our young kids, as we decided to live in when doing it. Did we have problems we had to overcome, of course, what build doesn't - but it felt like a true partnership and they were always quick to respond. We also finished bang on time. Plus Rooms were slightly more expensive than others, but because they could give us such clarity from the get go and would project manage the whole thing, that's why we went with them and i'm glad we did.”
