“Nato Vargas and his team did extensive drainage work for us in 2014. This involved taking down the soil level 4 inches in the back garden, digging and installing several french drains and a sump pump. Since then we've had no water accumulation during subsequent rainy seasons, protecting our foundation. The drainage works perfectly! Nato and team have come back twice, in 2017 and 2020, to repair and stain our back garden fence, resurface the gold fine decomposed granite paths, install a new mail box, replace a garden gate and build a wood shelter for our recology bins. Nato and his team do beautiful work!”

“Southbay Design & Landscaping redid our backyard over 4 years ago, and have been maintaining it ever since. They are very responsive to any requests we have and are thorough in the maintenance of our yard. I appreciate that they will plant new plants for us if we pick them up and have given advice on what kind of plants work around our yard. They even help out by fixing our sprinklers without us asking (we actually hadn’t realized it was broken but were suspicious of why the grass wasn’t growing well in one spot). We appreciate their professionalism and good work.”

“San Jose Tree Service is amazing! They were punctual and professional. Noe was easy to work with - he had great ideas but also accommodated our ideas. “I’d like to commend Joel Tapia of Bloom and Lawn Landscaping and his crew for doing such a terrific landscaping job at our home. Joel is very nice to work with and is very professional. He takes the time to review your needs and offers suggestions. Our new sod lawn and plants make our home look beautiful and brand new. It’s like a model house! Joel took the time to go with us to select the plants to go along with the new lawn. His prices are reasonable and his workers great. We had 1,000 square feet of lawn plus a tree and plants added. The job was done in just two days. We decided to retain them for our biweekly maintenance too. Thank you, Bloom and Lawn, for a job well done! You guys are great! Steve & Liz.”

“An excellent company to work with. From design, layout and all the way through to implementation- they’re one of the best. We were super pleased with the outcome and also took in their recommendations for landscape maintenance and are continuing to work with them for landscape maintenance. Amazing team and had a great experience! They take such good care of the home, clean up and keep to their timelines as well. “As a professional landscape designer, I don't trust just anyone to install my designs, and I'm wary when working with a contractor for the first time. But when my VIP clients needed a swimming pool with spa and waterfall, stone patios and seatwalls, cedar arbors, a built-in BBQ, lighting, plantings, a putting green... the works!... I invited Jeff Veliquette of Lifescape to bid, based on similar projects in his portfolio. My clients ultimately hired Lifescape -- and man, am I glad they did! It was an ambitious design with lots of opportunities for failure... and Lifescape turned it into a stunning success. Somehow Jeff not only kept track of countless details and changes, he and his crew executed them to an extremely high degree of finish. They truly take personal pride in a job well done, and obviously understand the meaning (and value) of terrific client service. Jeff also has great vision, and I was completely comfortable entrusting him to develop my ideas into a beautiful reality. Lifescape's foreman was a consummate professional as well, handling even my unreasonable requests with grace and good humor. All of us are delighted with the outcome of this project; and wary no more, I will be recommending Jeff to install more of my designs in the future.”
