“Mejia Landscaping did an excellent job with the backyard to our house. We completely remodeled the backyard, putting in a new patio, gravel, privacy walls, landscaping and lighting. We relied heavily on Alberto to guide us -- he was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and figured out exactly what we wanted so that the final product matched our vision. Mejia is a wonderful company to work with -- good with design, superlative in execution. Their workers always treated the inside of our house with respect and made sure that materials were transported through the house in such a manner that it did not damage the floors.”

“Nato Vargas and his team did extensive drainage work for us in 2014. This involved taking down the soil level 4 inches in the back garden, digging and installing several french drains and a sump pump. Since then we've had no water accumulation during subsequent rainy seasons, protecting our foundation. The drainage works perfectly! Nato and team have come back twice, in 2017 and 2020, to repair and stain our back garden fence, resurface the gold fine decomposed granite paths, install a new mail box, replace a garden gate and build a wood shelter for our recology bins. Nato and his team do beautiful work!”

“We are so happy with our "refreshed" backyard from Westcoast Hardscape! The team was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Mike/ operations manager was proactive & honest with communication, shared ideas to consider and walked through the process and options so we knew exactly what was planned. We can't wait to work with them again for future projects, we can not recommend them enough....overall an excellent experience and amazing work!!!”

“Jim is incredible hard-working, diligent, knowledgeable, flexible and conscientious. He loves his work and it shows. “My garden had good bones but the plants were all wrong. I wanted a garden that looked natural but well-kept, a tough aesthetic to pull off. I wanted lots of birds and butterflies. Mariposa Gardening has taken care of my garden for a few years now. The principal, Andrea Hurd, started by editing the original sorry collection of misplaced plants, replacing the losers with absolute winners. I now have a beautiful variety of textures, colors, shapes and sizes. Something is in bloom in all seasons. We are overrun with birds and, in season, with butterflies. Her maintenance crews have done a great job of keeping her work looking good. The trees are elegantly pruned; each one displays that gold standard "looks like it grew that way" look. Any special request that I make is quickly taken care of. Sometimes I get treats, in the form of new flowers or vegetable starts (I love foraging in my own back yard). In short I am completely happy with Mariposa Gardening and Design.”

Removed 4 old wooden retaining walls and some plant material and installed 4 cement block/fake stone face retaining walls (approx. 12.5 tons) in 5 days. I would use them again and would be happy to give a referral.”

“Neli, Stan, Todd, and others at Interactive Landscapes are fantastic. Interactive completely remodeled our front and back yards, installed a large Batu (wood) deck, a hot tub, a BBQ island with built-in plumbing and gas, artificial grass field, concrete and tiles, and beautiful landscaping/plants, automated drip and spray irrigation, and automated and manual LED lighting. They had great and tasteful ideas provided 3D, color/textured computer drawings to help us visualize the design. They suggested strategies to save money on the design. They led and personally worked on every detail. They instantly respond to questions verbally, in text, or email. We have put a lot of work on our house and hired more than 15 contractors for a large amount of work inside and outside. Interactive Landscapes is by far the best contractor with which i have ever worked. Their prices are highly competitive and their quality is just top notch.--the best i have seen. I cannot say enough. They can do it all.”
