“I chose Tom for a few reasons. From the three bids that we received, I liked and trusted him the most. I having a background in construction myself, I was able to test him, as I did with everyone else. And I valued his honesty and work ethics. He was very good with explaining and answered most of my questions before I ask them. His. His price was reasonable as well. As for the end results, my wife and I were very happy and ended up giving him another job. The initial job was a shared bathroom. And later on we hire Tom to do the master bathroom which came out amazing!”

“We hired R&R to build a 1,900 sqft deck, outdoor kitchen and seating area. The team was outstanding! I can't say enough great things about these guys. They were clear about what they were going to do, when they were going to do it, and then in the end, it all happened as they said it would. The entire team was fantastic to work with. They came with great ideas and delivered for us every step of the way. If you are looking to remodel your backyard, look no further - this is your team. Choose anyone else at your own risk. Ron and the team are by far the best contractors I've ever worked with. Plus they are great guys on top of it, which makes the process move so much more smoothly. We never had to chase anyone down or wonder when anything was going to happen. They were great communicators throughout the entire project and we absolutely love our new backyard. Highly recommend working with them!”

“We are so happy with our "refreshed" backyard from Westcoast Hardscape! The team was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Mike/ operations manager was proactive & honest with communication, shared ideas to consider and walked through the process and options so we knew exactly what was planned. We can't wait to work with them again for future projects, we can not recommend them enough....overall an excellent experience and amazing work!!!”

“Southbay Design & Landscaping redid our backyard over 4 years ago, and have been maintaining it ever since. They are very responsive to any requests we have and are thorough in the maintenance of our yard. I appreciate that they will plant new plants for us if we pick them up and have given advice on what kind of plants work around our yard. They even help out by fixing our sprinklers without us asking (we actually hadn’t realized it was broken but were suspicious of why the grass wasn’t growing well in one spot). We appreciate their professionalism and good work.”

“San Jose Tree Service is amazing! They were punctual and professional. Noe was easy to work with - he had great ideas but also accommodated our ideas. Our project was unique - it was 2 adjoining neighbors' yards with a bocce court in the middle. They executed our plan perfectly! We love the results and we loved working with Noe, Jose, Robert and the whole team!”

“Nato Vargas and his team did extensive drainage work for us in 2014. This involved taking down the soil level 4 inches in the back garden, digging and installing several french drains and a sump pump. Since then we've had no water accumulation during subsequent rainy seasons, protecting our foundation. The drainage works perfectly! Nato and team have come back twice, in 2017 and 2020, to repair and stain our back garden fence, resurface the gold fine decomposed granite paths, install a new mail box, replace a garden gate and build a wood shelter for our recology bins. Nato and his team do beautiful work!”

“Steven and his crew from Opulands have done a phenomenal job and displayed thorough professionalism with our home backyard landscaping project. Steven was very respectful of our time, requirements and presented multiple design options to us and the cost tradeoffs. Steven was also kind enough to make multiple trips to allow us time to converge on the design. We are very happy with the tiled option that we eventually settled on and the workmanship of his crew exceeded our expectations. We share the same work ethic and commitment to excellence and don’t settle until both client and contractor are happy. Since our first meeting until today we have continuously referred each other and produced happy clients on separate home improvement fronts. They have even worked on my family member’s homes and afterwards I heard nothing but high praise for their excellent work. They are my go-to company when I think of anything that has to do with the outdoors.
