“I hired Paul to update my 1950s kitchen. The room was barely larger than a closet, with minimal storage and an inefficient layout. I had a very modest budget and only a vague idea of what I wanted (no granite, nothing too generic). Paul was able to find creative solutions to the limitations of my wallet and the unexpected surprises that crop up in an older home remodel. He managed to open up the room and maximize the storage space. Almost everything added was custom-made to fit the space and reflect my style, including a beautiful built-in cutting board. It's obvious that he takes pride in his work. The job wasn't over until he was sure I was satisfied with every change. I couldn't be happier with the results, and I would not hesitate to hire Paul again.”

“Master Works built us a beautiful bathroom vanity for our newly renovated bathroom. It was custom made piece to fit the space. Carpentry was excellent and quality materials were used. In addition, we have also had Cabinet Works make several cabinet doors for us to match existing cabinets. Once again- excellent quality and craftsmanship. For both jobs, turn-around time was very fast and customer service was above and beyond. Highly recommend!”

“Brassfield Custom Wood Works completed both a curio cabinet to house the Aesculapius staff and the Hippocratic oath cabinet for Duke School of Medicine. The Barbour's were both a pleasure to work with and were reasonable in their pricing. Their understanding of our needs matched with their creativity exceeded what we had envisioned. I personally have recommended them to several other individuals and departments throughout Duke. Everyone who I have referred them to has been equally thrilled with their custom creations.”
