The owners Bill and Cindy will leave you feeling as warm and cozy as the fireplace the put in your home. Frank in the showroom has a wealth of knowledge and is very passionate about his work. “Gas Works has installed a corner unit gas fireplace in our finished basement which worked perfectly for our room. Some specific considerations had to be made during the installation and they were able to perform the needed task. The unit is great and performs perfectly for our room. We also used them for our yearly safety checks on this unit as well as one in our living room. Great piece of mind to know that the unit works efficiently and safely. We also purchased a gas grill which was installed with a direct gas line. Perfect compliment for all our grilling needs!”

“All of my experience with Salters has been exceptionally good. In Nov., 2012 I ordered a propane gas fireplace insert for my home. First person who came to my home to confirm the measurements, recommended a custom frame (at a very modest increase in cost) so that less of the marble on my fireplace would be hidden. Second, the store rearranged their installation schedule so that my insert was installed the day before my early December holiday party. The insert looked great!! Lastly, when a manufacturing defect was discovered with the model which I had purchased, the Salter service team tried to arrive in a timely manner to get my insert working again, worked with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problem, and went out of their way to keep me appraised of the progress. I would definitely recommend Salters to everyone.”

“We contracted with Chimneys R Us to replace an existing vent-free gas fireplace with a high efficiency wood burning unit. We could not be more pleased. They were extremely helpful with suggestions, and very flexible and accommodating as we finalized our choices in stone, mantle, etc. Everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous, and the work was done on time and to very high quality. We would definitely recommend.”

“Hearth & Stove was recommended to me by a friend. I moved into my home about three years ago and it was my first experience with a fireplace. Because I was not sure about the condition of the fireplace I called Hearth & Stove to inspect and if necessary service. The worker arived on time and was very courteous and professional. He completed a thorough inspection and told me that my system was very clean and did not need any service at this time. The inspection was free. This worker could have easily taken advantage of my ignorance and anxiety but he was honest and forthright about the condition of my fireplace. Hearth & Stove came highly recommended. They are courteous and professional and from this day forward the only company I will call for my fireplace needs.”

“I spoke to Chris and Jon at Modern gas about a fireplace for my bedroom, Last year. My room Was freezing no matter what, so I figured I would see if I could get something for my small space. The guys from modern gas came to my home and helped me figure out the best type and style for my home. I am very particular about my decor and didn't want anything too big. I found the perfect size/type for the room and love how warm and cozy my bedroom has now become. The guys were friendly, professional and careful with my house. There were a lot of different styles I was tempted to choose but finally decided on a unit that will be encased in cabinetry. A project my husband insists he can do. The guys at modern said they could help with cabinets, ect, but hubby wants to try. Anyway, I was able to get what I wanted for a great price, which made hubby happy, the owners were super knowledgeable and easy to work with.
