“I'm the Condo Board president of a small building in Washington, DC. I found Mid Atlantic Mailbox, Inc. through an internet search, b/c we were looking to replace our aging mailboxes. I stopped my search once I started dealing with this company, b/c their customer representative was so knowledgeable (as I'm not) and helpful, sending a couple options very quickly, and providing a proposal very soon after I sent them the measurements. Between the time I signed the proposal and had our mgt co send half the cost as a deposit and the time of installation we switched management companies. The new mgt co was expecting to have to coordinate with the Post Office, but Mid Atlantic handled all that seamlessly for the day of installation. We're extremely pleased with our new mailboxes. We did have to hire a contractor to frame them. Mid Atlantic would've provided a contractor to handle that portion, but we had already planned to have some significant work done elsewhere in the building. The only sour part of our experience was when Mid Atlantic tried to get us to cover the cost of a parking ticket the installer received. They said they do a significant amount of business in DC, and given how smoothly things went with the USPS, I believe them. Anyone with any knowledge of the Dupont Circle neighborhood is well aware that parking is a challenge. We had never promised a parking space, b/c in fact we do not have any to offer. Their installer's story differed entirely from what our management company representative told me, and it was just unfortunate that Mid Atlantic sought to be compensated in the first place. It was a learning experience for us, however, and in the future we will be sure not schedule something like this on a "street cleaning day" when you can't park at all on one side of the street.”

“The Potomac Garden Center and their designer Emily, updated my front yard and transformed my backyard just in time for the Kentlands House and Garden Show. The plantings were well researched and carefully placed to assure they would do well in the lighting and soil conditions. I loved working with Emily! She took careful notes about what would go where but also considered how we used the space and how much work we would be willing to put into our garden on a daily basis. David was generous with providing the homes on the tour with just about anything they need to accessorize (flowers, plants, and shrubs). I highly recommend The Potomac Garden Center!”
