“Mural by Clarissa Parish
I have planned my new Orangery for 20 years, the base went down in 2007 and I knew exactly what I wanted but never thought about a mural until I understood that Clarissa had moved into the village.
What she painted was beyond my wildest dreams. I said that I wanted a sub tropical forest along the whole of the back wall – she produced two or three designs, we agreed and she started to paint. It was as if she was doing it in a trance – there seemed to be no effort and what appeared happened very quickly and very beautifully.
As we moved along, I made some suggestions – how about a gorilla, a kingfisher overlooking my fish tank – each time they were painted life size and in perfect detail. I think she is probably in Harry Potter as she is a magician! Everyone who comes to the Orangery marvels at the beauty of what she has created.
Most certainly recommend her services.

“Having moved to Hove, there was a very special moment that I wanted to remember so I commissioned Hannah to paint it for me. She captured the people and the vibe just perfectly - and now that memory hangs in my space and gives me enormous pleasure every day.
I really like her pared down but eloquent style - she is a fabulous colourist, was immensely sensitive to my requests and the piece fits perfectly with the overall aesthetic of my flat. I am thrilled and grateful that she kept a lid on the cost, given that it was a bespoke commission that involved in her a lot of work, preliminary sketches etc.”
