I wish I had asked her to stop after the second day. I am a sensitive, caring, subtle person who served in the Marines and only wants strong colors on a bayonet. I was enchanted by the softer scene that she considered the preliminary sketch. When she began to apply more color and contrast, I expressed reservations. She was very nice and understanding; and she adjusted the composition. She produced a beautiful mural, but I still regret not having stopped her after the second day. She wants you to like what she creates for you. But she does not read minds. So you have to express your desires. It is the same approach spouses should take. Debbie is very engaging and appealing. But don't mess with her. She has a pet rattlesnake named Hector. Original art is an enviable addition to a home.”
