“I was referred to Sounddesign Group by a friend and selected them after interviewing 3 architects. After the initial referral, I was attracted to SDG because of the variety of home design styles shown on their website. I didn't want my project to be pigeonholed as a "type". I wanted my design professional to be open-minded and easy to work with, and I definitely found that in Eric Terry. He is one of the most easy-going people I have ever worked with, but at the same time he gets things done. The process was simple and fun, and we got everything we wanted even though some of it required both Eric and our builder to think outside the box. “Alex of LAS Design did a virtual design of our new 7500 sf home from the architect's blue prints. The models Alex created really made refining the design much easier as he created many views and videos that let us see things we couldn't visualize from the blue prints. Alex found numerous design and drafting errors in the plans that would have cost us thousands to resolve if we wouldn't have found them until the house was being constructed. Alex also did color studies for us that were a great help on the exterior and interior of our home. He was very easy to work with including doing virtual web based design sessions where he made some of the changes in real time.”

“My wife and I are fortunate to own a great piece of property with open spaces and views from DIA to the Tech Center. When we began the design process, we met with many architects. Of all of the architects that we met with to consider a design for our house, Lisa was the only one focused on what we, the customer, wanted. Every other architect wanted to use our property as a showcase for their design. Lisa was able to show us other beautiful projects she had completed. However, we really appreciated her inquiry into our hopes, dreams, and wishes for this house. Very quickly, we knew that Touch Architecture was going to design our dream home based on what we, the customer, wanted. “AD Shapiro Architects did a great job for us designing our hardscape and landscape in our large backyard. We have two levels and with our large roof size (over 8,000 sq ft) there was huge drainage that came off the roof and needed to be absorbed into the landscape since it wasn't possible to drain to the gutter. Tony Shapiro designed a large French drain system on our lower level and we have never had any problems with water backing up on our patio. The hardscape and stairs were designed so that it was cost effective but very pretty and matched our home. The plans were perfectly drawn for our contractor to follow. Excellent job. I would use them again in a minute!”
