“Roger and his team worked closely with my husband and me to create the home of our dreams. I had a vision for many years and they listened carefuly, made realistic and valuable suggestions, and drew my dream better than I could have dreamed it. The design for our lake waterfront lot was a happy blend of my desire for sleek, modern with the HOAs idea of contemporary. We fit in nicely with the neighborhood, but have sleek linear shapes and smooth textures. We were building on a very difficult lake front lot with extremely steep terrain and natural gulleys that held standing water. Roger and his team worked with engineers to make sure we lived "on the water, not in the water", creating a design that allowed the graders to push the natural running water around the house and down the hill rather than into the house. This gave us the wonderful opportunity to have access bridges rather than sidewalks - a unique and very eye pleasing addition. Throughout the design they kept true to my vision while helping us add the features necessary to age in place. It is a beautiful design and we will live here forever. Roger Layman Architecture made the experience enjoyable and low stress. We would recommend this team to anyone who wants to build heir dream home.”

This was our first time designing a house and Liz was flexible and helpful with ideas. She was easy to work with, got everything done timely and got the plans approved. “I had a very positive and pleasant experience working with 1st Source Solution and the creative building team. I wanted a larger and more updated living room, and they made it possible. Mr. Harrah took my budget and laid out the plan. His group showed up on time and worked efficiently while performing with the utmost professionalism. Mr. Harrah was well informed by his team, on sight to keep me aware of our situations, and provided solutions that allowed us to stay within budget. He was conscientious about communication between his team and with me. At our initial meeting we discussed this project's time frame, and I was very clear it could take 30-60 days to complete. The job was completed in 53 days, we stayed within budget, and I was happily satisfied with the quality of work. I hope in the future Mr. Harrah and his team will agree to return to assist me with more renovations. I highly recommend 1st Source Solution! Thank you.”
