“We went to Helen to design and project manage our home renovation and extension after seeing the fabulous job Helen did on the house of a friend of ours. Our friends also spoke highly of Helen's professionalism and design knowledge and practice and said they had thoroughly enjoyed the whole project, including the actual build, which was one of the only times I've ever heard that said about a renovation! We are about to start the actual renovation/extension in the next month and to date, we've had the same experience as our friends. Helen has been a pleasure to work with and we have absolute faith in her as a person and as an architect. She listens to our input whilst maintaining an expert's direction over the brief, guiding and advising and arguing her point as and when she needs. “Julian Rutt did a fantastic job on our house; lots of attention to detail, including many unexpected little things that bring us delight every day. The house has lots of natural light but is easy to keep cool in summer as well as warm in winter. It reflects our personality but is not a monument, perfect for entertaining or equally a quiet night in, a refuge after a busy day. It’s integrated beautifully with the garden with nicely framed views from every window. We love living here, and our neighbours in the street all love the house too”
