“We wanted something much more special and different than what we had seen done before locally. David and Marina were the perfect duo to do exactly that. Our home feels like it is special to us. As issues would inevitably come up, we never felt lost or confused because FAME would always have either the issues solved already or a solid well thought out plan B or even plan C. Even at the most frustrating times during our build, we would still describe the process as stress-free because they were always with us 100% and carried us all the way through to the finish line. FAME was a dream team to work with and honestly I look forward to the day we can do another project together.”

“I just completed a complete remodel of my San Francisco Edwardian flat and build out my basement. Joanne and her staff did a fantastic job. It started out as a kitchen bath remodel, but once the design process started expanded to include every room as we discussed how different spaces would be used and what I didn't like about the current space after living with it for 20yrs. Might as well do it right! Joanne's attention to detail, listening, and high ethical standards are unmatched. She would listen in the meetings and ask questions then come back with some ideas and sketches to get my reaction. She knew what I wanted without me even knowing it. She was also sensitive to the project budget which was important. I was able to complete the project within my budget. She was also key to working with the general contractor. She brought with her experience in projects of my scope / scale and working with different contractors and even her own remodel. This helped immensely. “A wonderful team who designed an elegant, amazing modern remodel and addition of our row house in San Francisco. The project had numerous obstacles including a load bearing wall that was over the property line, a very steep hill side with a ton of earthquake retrofitting required, and a bridge to link two buildings. They are wonderful at asking just the right questions to figure out the best uses of space and how to design for how you really live, are very professional, and extremely organized, articulate, and resourceful. I would highly recommend them to anyone for any sized residential project.”

They are that good! I have worked on a half dozen projects with them over the years, and they have always come through for us with creative ideas and solutions.
