“We hired Sam at the beginning of 2009 to do a partial renovation of an old farm house in northern New South Wales. He was very professional and when any problems arose always had a solution which was helpful when we had not renovated before.
There were complexities with moving walls and re-jigging ceiling roses etc but nothing was too much trouble.
We all worked with an excellent building team and together made our renovation work both inside and outside with inground tanks and a swimming pool.
A very positive experience.”

“"I contracted Architecture of Spirit to design my additions and renovations to our small home in Sydney’s inner west without increasing the existing building’s ‘footprint’ due to floor space regulations. It involved excavating a basement and making much better use of existing space.
I found Greg O’ Donnell to have a calm and friendly manner that belies his experience, professionalism and attention to detail. He deals clearly and calmly with the many small and large issues that arise during such a project.
He was always accessible and generous with his time for consultation and advice which we often did by video chat and screen sharing. He was happy to bounce around then work through alternative ideas, a process by which we arrived at what I believe was the optimal design, and all within our budget. We are very happy with his service and with the transformation of our home.””

“From our very first contact with Wayne it was clear we had found the right person to help us achieve our goal of taking a property that many thought should have been knocked down to something that is not only beautiful but has maintained the original character of the Burleigh Heads area.
Wayne was able to help us achieve all of the projects requirements which included renovating the existing apartments to a high standard and adding more space in the form of a 3 bedroom apartment to the existing building while still maintaining the beach house characteristics of the original building but in a modern form.
Wayne was involved with all aspects of our project including initial design, selection, documentation, planning, building supervision and interior fit out.
As with all projects challenges present along the way and none so much as when both a renovation and new build are tackled at once. At all times we were particularly impressed with Wayne's sensitivity to the current building and its location as well as his problem solving abilities and time taken to work through these with both ourselves and the builder. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
A year on we are still impressed by what has been achieved as are many more who are now enjoying the property through Holiday rental. Thanks Wayne this could not have been achieved without your involvement and we hope it inspires others.”

“Sue Harper, Kelley Rochow and Phil Harris of Troppo Architects all contributed to designing our beautiful Australian home in Byron Bay. We spoke with Sue almost everyday and she really understood what we wanted to achieve in our new home. We've been living here for the past 6 months and love the way the house responds to the seasons. We now have our fire going at night, but in the summer we opened all the louvres, turned on a few fans and the sea breezes kept us cool and content. We love how the house sits so well in the landscape and in the neighbourhood, people passing by often stop to talk about the house or pop in to take a look and stay for a cuppa at Kelley's bar. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Sue Harper and Troppo at the exact time we bought the land. They are very collaborative, imaginative and really respected our passion for simplicity and minimalism so we have a relaxed home here in paradise.”
