“Our experience with IO Architecture was a great result after inviting their services on our behalf to various, useless, overpaid,council departments. Apart from council "doing my head in" the stress relief by Io Architecture stepping in and being persistence proved worthwhile and finally gave us our expected and deserving result. The fees charged were reasonable and regular communication regarding our project was excellent. We recommend your next project to IO Architecture for a complete service.”

“Every day we find cause to enjoy our home and be thankful for the creative architecture and professional work of DE atelier - their design is innovative, functional and a retreat for peaceful living. Special features include raised walkway floating over a pond at the entrance, light-filled stairwell directing residents to lower level self contained living area, two bedrooms, study and bathroom. Upstairs the kitchen, living, balcony and master bedroom. Moving between the living and the bedroom features an internal bridge / walkway. The design enhances our privacy as we look out to a rural view, yet sheltered from the urban street.”

“Worked with Paul and Mel on a partial redesign of our house - a knock down of the back portion and a rebuild to transform a small 1880s worker's terrace into a modern light filled, stylish and spacious 21st century home. The pair exceeded expectations on the design: they took all our 'nice to haves' and added them in with the 'must haves'. I feel they truly understood our vision from the outset, so that what we ended up with is simply perfect.”

“Robert Mills, who was our Architect is an easy person to work with, nothing you asked of him was too much trouble. He listens to what you want, then designs and if he sees any improvements can be made, he will do them on the spot if you agree., His professional attitude, knowledge of the building regulations, and attention to detail is superb. He also has a great team of people who work with him both in his office and outside. The trades people he put us in touch with were also very professional and each trade did a fantastic job. It made the whole experience of building our home fun and exciting.”

“Lucy's challenge was to contemporise the sadly dated interior of a house that was built to exacting standards in 2006. As such, there were inherent building constraints imposed on Lucy and her wonderful team. From the outset, her professionalism, attention to detail and clear documentation ensured that the project ran smoothly. Lucy was flexible when it came to suggesting options but firm when it came to the design elements that mattered. Her recommended builder was an excellent choice as they shared the same high ideals and worked very well together. Lucy's ability to combine her considerable architectural AND interior design skills means that we now have very appealing spaces enhanced by superb finishes, furniture and fittings. Consequently, we just really enjoy time in our home. Obviously, we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Lucy Clemenger Architects.and would be happy to elaborate further. Simon & Prue”

Whilst having been confronted with numerous challenges throughout the process, in the end without their experience it would have been difficult getting to an end. The project won an architectural design award at the City of Bayside and the design has stood the test of time.”

“Timmins & Whyte designed, tendered and managed the building of my family home in North Melbourne ($1,000,000 + project). They're a small, busy architectural firm which to my mind is the only type of firm to deal with when building you're own place. I was away overseas during much of the process so left things in their hands. My architect emailed, texted and rang me pretty much daily with progress updates. She was highly competent, devoid of ego (important for an architect I think) and followed my instructions. The managers regularly suggested ideas to save money and make improvements as you'd expect of a decent firm. I felt they had my best interests at heart, were good with budgets and managed the builders so all I needed to do was move in when the time came. Unlike most reviews of architects, my comments above are unsolicited.”
