Schluter®-SHELF-E is a wall storage system available in brushed stainless steel. The shelves are 5/32″ (4 mm) -thick and feature designs coordinating with the Curve and Floral styles found in KERDI-DRAIN and KERDI-LINE drain grates. They can be used in showers and other tiled wall applications (e.g., kitchens and baths). SHELF-E is suitable for corner installations
Carly Nemtean and Lauren Poetker of Carriage Lane Design-Build put a laundry station behind sliding pocket doors and added fun wallpaper, a folding countertop and rods for hanging and drying clothes.

Built-in bench seating in a dining nook off a kitchen is highly prized for its comfiness and storage. But when you can’t afford the built-in approach, or it’s not practical, consider a stand-alone furniture bench, as designer Amy Storm of Designstorms did in this Chicago kitchen.

This pantry entrance fits seamlessly into a row of tall cabinet doors. Notice how the cabinetmaker created a false toe kick look on the pantry doors to blend them in with the adjacent doors
