The way the angled roof meets the flat roof
The door color is "Downpipe: from Farrow&Ball. The house is integral color stucco, not paint. It's "Navajo" from Western Stucco.
I like the eaves and the windows set into the stucco, but the front door and lamps are a little to gaudy in my opinion, and the roof tile probably wouldn't fit well into the neighborhood
Again the eaves, window style (tho not necessarily shape), stucco, light fixtures, and even chimney pieces would represent a nice Monterey-Spanish-Modern fusion that could potentially work in the ranch/cottage style of the Westmont neighborhood
Love the eaves and the nod to historical architecture while having crisp clean lines, thin black window structure, white stucco, and tidy green landscaping. Roof color and type would be consistent with the Westmont Rd neighborhood, while architecture still allows for a hint of modern/Monterey spanish style
Corbells and broad, enclosed eaves are nice. Also like the historical architecture freshened up with modern crisp black and white color scheme, and the tidy green landscaping.
The exterior shows what a combination of shingle and vertical panels could look like, with some larger-format window panes in cottage style. I like the gently meandering path as well, bordered by green, through this shady side yard
