DEE: Basement rec. area pendant
SS - could we do something like this on either side of the family room fireplace or do you think it would detract from the clean look? DEE: I think it would detract from the clean look. Maybe do some modular bookcases? I do think we can figure out something cool to design in the basement front window niche area. (SS - sounds good, thx)
SS - could we build some book shelves into the kid’s bedroom or would that take up valuable space since it’s already a smaller room? DEE: The room is already fairly small. I did want to show you a space between the middle and front room. I kept the niche as is in the front bed but there is an opportunity to reframe it as a change and do a built it. (SS - sounds good, thx)
SS - inspiration for dining chairs. DEE: Do you want to integrate this blue color instead of the dark green in the front living/dining room? (SS - for furniture or were you thinking other accents? I like both, could we do this blue in dining & green in kitchen bar/family?) DEE: Thinking of core furniture so we know how to pair other fixtures/tile/paint, etc. (SS - let’s go with the green then on the 1st floor if we are doing blues in the basement and 2nd floor?)
SS 12/20 - I like this cabinet/drawer combo for basement bar. Also like the shelves, so maybe that as an option/alternative to glass window doors on top half. DEE: got it! Did you still want the Ann Sacks backsplash or some color like this? (SS 12/20 - How about the Ann Sacks Costal in a similar green color? Which of the finishes do you think works best? https://www.annsacks.com/products/tile-stone-mosaic/kelly-wearstler-tableau-field-tile-made-by-ann-sacks#/tableau-coastal)
SS 12/17 - this shows the waterfall island with cabinets only opening from stove facing side. Is this more similar to how it will look or will the cabinets open from both sides? I think this one looks cleaner. DEE: Correct. The back side are panels only and the opposite side operable (SS 12/17 - great, thx)
DEE: Living room fireplace inspiration with stone surround and herringbone panel insert. Use white stone surround and hearth (SS 12/17 - sounds good) DEE: We can integrate something similar in the family room for protection of the drywall
DEE: Kitchen hood and shaker cabinet style (SS 12/17 - looks good)
DEE: White Island (SS 12/17 - looks good. Will the cabinet doors open from both sides or just one side? See other inspiration I just posted.) DEE: No. Panels only. Do do this you have to extend the width of the island by about 12" - 14" and you look room in the family room. I was posting just for they shaker door style
DEE: Exterior gates (SS 12/15 - looks good)
DEE: Do you like this for the front door? We can then pair the gate knobs and interior crystal knobs to this similar shape (SS 12/15 - looks great!) DEE: Great!
DEE: Florals for color burst in kitchen (SS 12/14 - cute!)
DEE: Foyer tile inspiration. Wider herringbone with a gold tone grout (SS 12/14 - looks good)
SS 12/14 - Potential light for basement window
SS 12/14 - possible light for over master tub
DEE: Simple white tile on side walls with slight movement
DEE: Guest bath floor and wall tile
DEE: Maybe something similar to this for guest bath on floor and up tile wall (wider tile planks). Simple large scale tile on vanity and side tub walls (SS 12/14 - looks great!)
SS 12/13 - I like these too. DEE: I will use this for inspiration with black matte rosette and crystal knob
SS 12/13 - is this metal color different enough to use?
SS 12/13 - possible light for basement storage
SS 12/13 - possible light for basement storage
SS 12/13 - possible light for basement storage
SS 12/13 - I like this for the master bedroom. DEE: Using in design
SS 12/13 - I also like this for either the 2nd floor guest bedroom or the master bathroom above tub.
SS 12/13 - would these work? DEE: you could do these but personally with all the bling of gold and pop of color we are trying to incorporate I think the handles will look too glam. I’d do something simpler. We use crystal in settings where you need an extra pop of detail (like my house that is fairly muted). It’s your preference though so let me know. (SS 12/13 - thx, I still like the crystal the best, I’m ok with too glam:-) ). DEE: ok! I will organize all additional change order information once we confirm all choices
DEE: Current mudroom design (SS 12/13 - I like this, the color is more of a blue green, right?) DEE: it’s more of a dark blue/grey (SS - perfect!)
DEE: Alternative with green. I will include both on mood board so you can see the flow of the entire floor
DEE: Consider a black matte that matches the hinge finish and has a touch of gold at the cylinder. This is the tall backplate
DEE: Consider a black matte that matches the hinge finish and has a touch of gold at the cylinder. This is the short backplate

ALORA HEXA SCONCE - BATH
DEE: 2nd floor laundry inspiration. The shelving is similar to the silvered oak floor color and this pistachio color looks great with it, gold accents and white backsplash tile. Thoughts? (SS 12/13 - I like it, but prefer the shade of green in the other kitchen pic)
SS 12/12 - I also like this midnight blue, but might be too dark for 2nd floor and too similar to the mud room? DEE: For which room? Laundry? (SS 12/13 - yes, laundry)
SS 12/12 - Laundry room cabinets inspiration re: a mint green or pistachio with the gold accents, white subway tile and countertop.
SS 12/12 - I like this millwork too
SS 12/12 - this is similar to the Nixon print millwork DEE: Thanks! Much clearer and will go great with the doors!
SS 12/12 - this is similar to the Nixon print millwork DEE: Great!
SS 12/12 - I like this pocket door handle inspiration
SS 12/12 - I like this door knob inspiration
SS 12/12 - I like this door knob inspiration
SS 12/12 - I like this door knob inspiration
SS 12/12 - I like this door knob inspiration. DEE: The hinges are black matte. I would select a similar finish.
SS 12/12 - I like this black front door inspiration if the red doesn’t work. DEE: We can stain the door multiple layers in Ebony to get to a richer black and consider using a gloss instead of a satin finish.
SS 12/12 - I like this red too or a tomato red.
SS 12/12 - could we paint the front door red? DEE: Unfortunately the door has to be stained. It's an African Mahogany tortified door so it accepts stains. Shall we incorporate some red in additional planters going up the stairs?
DEE: Or a blue laundry cabinet and soften the master bed wallpaper to compliment seeing either the color from the laundry and the master while still having a wow factor!
SS - here’s another one
