Transitional Home Office

In this home office, my client asked for more storage, a place for the kids to read while the homeowners work and the addition of color. I designed the window seats to serve three purposes: an area for the children to read on, lateral file storage below and an area to soften the office with colorful fabrics. I flanked the window seat with tall storage to hide the office necessities such as printers and routers. After installing functioning shades, beautiful draperies, furniture and overhead lighting, the home office is now a proper working hub of the home.
