Slat Wall
This slat wall was placed between the entryway and the dining room beyond. There was a need to hide two steel support posts and a plumbing drain while still allowing natural light to pass between spaces. All this while still allowing each space to feel like it's own room. The wall is made of solid poplar that is stained a dark espresso and lacquered. The slats cover both sides of the posts allowing shelves to be cantilevered at any spot in the wall and artwork to be displayed.
