Show Us the Golden Moneywort
You've got your typical leaf green, and then there's the vibrant neon green of this sprawling perennial ground cover, golden moneywort. Also known as 'creeping Jenny' or the Latin name, Lysimachia nummularia Aurea. Believe it or not this fast spreading plant can be walked on like turfgrass, and can look really great with spring bulbs popping through the sea of green. In the center of this mini-rock garden is a bloodgood Japanese maple, that will mature to 15-20ft. Black granite accent boulders help to shore-up the contoured bed, and create areas for water to slow & sink. Way more interesting and practical then your common flat-earth garden bed.
