This keeping room off the kitchen was designed by Nancy Chalmers. The french Bergère chair was recoverd in a chinoiserie fabric that became the inspiration for the room's color pallet. The knitting bench was covered in a complimenting fabric with frogs on it for a smile. The custom faux finish on the walls is a multi layered venetian plaster. The plantation shutters are in a soft off white that blends with the room. The french doors in the room are covered in the same chinoiserie fabric that is on the chair.
