The homeowner wanted to make a dramatic change in this 1970's Bolingbrook, IL home. We had 3 main goals: improve the functionality of the kitchen layout, make entertaining easy, and increase and update the storage. Two walls were removed to create an open floor plan, allowing for the addition of both an island and a breakfast bar. Warm wood floors compliment the dark tones and clean lines of the Kemper maple cabinetry. With new contemporary fixtures, cabinet hardware and appliances, this kitchen evokes a sleek, modern feel. Hanstone Quartz countertops with a polished bevel edge complete the transformation and pull the color scheme together.
