The Pianca Amalfi wardrobe has full length door handles designed to match or contrast with the door, enhancing the linear geometric look. As well as the classic opening style, Amalfi is also available with a special hinge to allow for a 180° door opening - see images.
Amalfi is extremely versatile as it offers a wealth of design possibilities including the option of adding a home office niche (as shown here) for a useful workspace solution. You can combine an Ala desk with drawers, shelves and open modules to create a functional, compact workspace, discreetly stowed away behind wardrobe doors. Clever extra details of cabinet-making brilliance, the smart use of hidden lighting and the integration of the most modern solutions for office space, make Amalfi perfect for interpreting the fluidity of life right now, rather than a hybrid of different genres.
For the wardrobe doors you can choose from a wide range of finishes, including materico (a high quality melamine), matt or gloss lacquer or a selection of wood options and can be ordered at a different height to the wardrobe (for example to hide an air con unit). The inside is available in a number of colours, or can be matt lacquered.
The standard doors can be cut across the height, depth or width (straight across/up cuts only) at no extra cost. Angled cuts can of course be done at a surcharge. Unlike any other wardrobe collections we know of, most of Pianca's wardrobes also come as standard in two depths - 59cm, and 42.3cm.
This is completely unique and enables you to buy a true 'fitted wardrobe' in exactly the size you need, with the choice of beautiful designs, colours, accessories & handles that are only offered on Italian wardrobes. We are also able to lacquer using RAL colours.
There are a fantastic choice of internal accessories too, including shoe racks, pull down rails, internal LED lights and more. Each two door wardrobe includes two hanging rails and one shelf per cabinet as standard.
Italian company Pianca are experts in wardrobes, with incredible flexibility, & ultra efficient production. They have fast lead times, and can reliably produce large numbers as easily as they can one or two wardrobes - perfect for contract or trade customers. They also make fantastic wall units and bespoke home offices, as well as beds and bedroom furniture, & living & dining furniture.
The Amalfi wardrobe is also available with sliding doors .
Our in-house wardrobe designers can discuss other options with you. For further information please Contact Us via email, phone us on 020 7731 9540 or visit our London showroom.

Cutting holes pattern in clay shape is probably one the oldest way to make lamps. The psychedelic play of light and shadow can be one of the most soothing experiences. Traditionally all the cut work is done manually, although base pieces can be cast, the way to create holes in the pieces using casting is currently not known, and hence is skill dependent, more the no of holes, more skill is required, and higher the time and cost. This lace design is perfect for your corner space and Dining space to lit the whole area with warmth and happiness with its beautiful cut pattern.

"The PentHaus,Gurgaon" - Design Profile.
The Conceptual Design Development-
RENESA ARCHITECTURE DESIGN INTERIORS have recently completed an interiors project for a penthouse(The PentHaus) in Gurgaon.
The basic design requirement as per the client was to divide the floor plates in the penthouse on the basis of public and private relationship.(With the public interaction and services on the lower level with the private interface on the upper level).
The design philosophy as dictated and understood was on the lines of contrast in colors with the play of art and decorative pieces highlighting the depth in the detailing of the accessorization of the whole scale model.
The client's interest in art and design pieces worked in favor for RENESA DESIGN STUDIO as it was a value-addition to the whole interior decor design process.
Credits need to be given to the client for the right selection of art pieces in terms of the color pallet blending into the design philosophy set by RENESA STUDIO.
A mix of contemporary modern with classical essence here and there provides a smooth transition of amalgamation of different design philosophies in a given space model.
The play of solid volumes with double height spaces gives the apartment a very expansive and grand look at the entrance.
Thus a line of communication is created between the public and private zones via the massive chandelier mass structure in the middle of the entrance foyer.
RENESA ARCHITECTURE STUDIO carefully studied and analyzed the given area and the clients requirement for the look and feel for the space (internal decor) and planned the space accordingly. The positioning and placement of art pieces, furniture and furnishings once decided by RENESA was left to the client to decide and they did proper justification to the space with some amazing decor choice to value add to the existing space design by the architects. It is also great to have clients with good design taste as it is always a value addition to the architect's vision.
Each and every space has been demarcated with its own essence of design so that they stand out and give a new experience to the visitor while passing through.
Also, the toilets have been carefully crafted according to the ambience of the space. Different specialized Italian stones for each different toilets gives a new experience for the viewers.
Perhaps the contrasting color pallets of the activity zones change so massively that the eye catching experiential pathway is induced at the lower level of the apartment.
The kitchen area has been expansively designed to give a very airy feeling to the household activities. Huge windows with amazing views provide a perfect setup for a good-to-cook ambiance at any time of the day.
The deck area for the Penthouse has been carefully crafted in terms of keeping the pallet on the green side with a tinge of hardscaping with the lit backdrop of the penthouse adding character to this external space.
Hence, all in all the character of a bling-y yet subtle design space is created at this apartment with more importance given to the transparency of the space transitions with the careful play of the color shade card in the backdrop.
BP Kitchens & Interiors
This kitchen used an in-frame design with mainly one painted colour, that being the Farrow & Ball Old White. This was accented with natural oak on the island unit pillars and on the bespoke cooker hood canopy. The Island unit features slide away tray storage on one side with tongue and grove panelling most of the way round. All of the Cupboard internals in this kitchen where clad in a Birch veneer.
The main Focus of the kitchen was a Mercury Range Cooker in Blueberry. Above the Mercury cooker was a bespoke hood canopy designed to be at the correct height in a very low ceiling room. The sink and tap where from Franke, the sink being a VBK 720 twin bowl ceramic sink and a Franke Venician tap in chrome.
The whole kitchen was topped of in a beautiful granite called Ivory Fantasy in a 30mm thickness with pencil round edge profile.

6880 Square Feet New and Renovated
The renovation of an extensive linear residence and site facing Port Orchard waterway embraces water, greenspace and forested hillside. The home, completed this fall, serves as an artist’s studio, galleries, family space, game room, outdoor living areas and peaceful retreat.
New interiors and exterior spaces and finishes, cabinetry, lighting, paving, landscape and courtyards become settings for the owner’s art + collections, three-generations of family and the wonderful colors and textures of the land + water.
Inside, a monumental central stair and tapered two-story tall red cedar and steel column was designed as the residence’s entry focal point and internal landmarks, guiding the visitor’s eye to the main atrium…. and upward. Heavy wide-flange steel moment frames support the house and enable whole walls of glass. Rough, mill-finished steel contrasts refined cabinetry, stone, wood structure and defining dropped ceilings, reflecting the opener’s love of the tension between highly polished and detailed + rough, found art.
Outside, A new southern “dining room” was designed for warm summer evening gatherings under a heavy-timber trellis. The focus, opposite water and island views, is a metal perforated screen. The final screen is composed of the lyrics from a Joe Cocker song of great meaning to the owners, cut from ½” marine bronze, set into dark-fired brick. “Oh My Darling, Be Home Soon….”
Natural daylight and high-efficiency lighting are central players as in any gallery. From a high clerestory and extensive southern and eastern window-walls to carefully selected up-lighting, pendants, and accent fixtures, Rhodes Architecture + Light worked closely with the owner to ensure that their dark existing house would become one filled with light…. night and day.
The owners, Ken and Jane, allowed us to interview them about their experience working with Rhodes Architecture + Light, and how they are feeling about living with the architecture today.
What was your experience like, working with Rhodes Architecture + Light?
“They worked with us because it was a remodel, an existing thing, and we had to try to make it work for all of our interests and how our family operated. They listened, and we listened, and it was a great communication back and forth.”–Jane
How has the renovation changed the way you live and enjoy your home?
“I remember saying to them that I want the whole floor heated because it gets so chilly down here. And we had the wood burning stove, but it was over there and now we just turn the floor heat on and we can come down. It’s cozy and nice. So we’re looking forward to winter now.”–Ken
“We have 5 kids together and now a bunch of grandchildren. I wanted a marble countertop, but there’s just no way. I didn’t want it to be a place where I had to say, ‘No, no, no. Wipe up your drink, do this, do that.’ I wanted it to be a place where everybody can come with all the kids, and we make a big mess, and I can clean it up. And we can enjoy ourselves here, because that room upstairs, we almost never went in. And now we’re in there eating pizza and watching the game.” –Jane
As an artist, Jane enjoyed the collaborative process.
“I can’t believe it was as positive as it was. I went into it thinking it would be a great, creative, fun, collaborative thing, and I have to say, with our architects, it was. I like that creative process. I always say when I am doing a painting, it’s a series of problem solving so it wasn’t unusual for me. I am completely blown away by them and had fun with that part of it.” –Jane
