Pentland Avenue
This home was completely stripped down to the bare studs, with a total reconfiguration of the floor plan. The kitchen was opened up to the rest of the main floor so that it was more welcoming when entertaining. Red rift cut oak, with a horizontal grain, slate gray stain with a white wash was used for the cabinetry. The white wash/glaze truly enhanced the effect of the oak grain. The countertops-Bianco Antico- were a nice compliment to the space picking up on the grey tones.
