Lower cabinet doors break up the tall, dark, cabinet that houses the hidden items. By having two sets of doors instead of one large one, the homeowner has more options as to what he wants to store where. He does not have to open the entire cabinet to find the item he needs at the bottom. Since the lower doors are at the medium height level, the viewers eyes start from the bottom drawer and work their way up to the entire wall.
