New Construction
We added scrolled, black relief paper to the tray ceiling. Natural light was in abundance in the space so the dark hue actually served to ground its grande scale. We mixed a new, white-painted pedestal table with old, wood-stained chairs that were reupholstered in a funky dark stripe. Scrolled detailing on the apron of the table relates back to the paper above. A Natural Curiosities rendition of Loxton Knight's "Passage Through the Pyrenees" floats on the wall. It's presence is large, yet quiet and ethereal.
