SLEEPING QUARTERS | A cozy nook was created for the sleeping area and a reclaimed wood accent wall was installed behind it to delineate the space and add texture and warmth. Wall mounted reading lamps were installed and put on a portable remote switch, which tucks away nicely in the side table for ease of use.
Jewelry wall cabinet keeps does double duty as a mirror, and a handy place to keep jewelry and accessories tidy and accessible.
The sweet vintage light mounted on the bookcase was created by our good friends Joy & Jamie over at Joyful Things in Uxbridge, MA. The homeowner did not wish to have any electrical run, so we came up with creative solutions for the additional lighting that was so desperately needed. This little beauty has an extra long cord that runs the width and height of the bookcase and plugs into an outlet near the base of the bookcase. It too is on a remote switch for ease of use.
