Maitland Residence Master Bath
The master bath was a complete remodel. The original tub was a corner tub that included only a tile backsplash. We completely relocated the tub and tiled all the way to the ceiling including a beautiful deco band on the wall and another one as a backsplash. We used a quartz for the tub deck and continued the dry floor material for the tub face. We re plumbed to change the location for the tub faucet and replaced with a new one. We added a beautiful crystal chandelier over the tub.
The master shower had a 45 degree angle and we took that out and squared it up. The shower and the tub are on the same wall, so we continued the tile all the way to the ceiling. We used a parallel pony wall and put glass on top so that you would have an open shower feel. We replaced all the plumbing valves and fixtures, this shower has a rain head, body jets and a removable sprayer. We were able to enlarge the footprint of the tub a little by squaring it off and not having that angle.
We replaced the his and her vanities, added a quartz counter top drop in sinks and new plumbing fixtures, coordinating cabinetry hardware, lighting and mirrors.
We replaced the door to the linen closet and lavatory and added new hardware.
We replaced the mirrored sliding closet doors with barn doors with decorative hardware and added mirrors inside each closet.
We added a “rug” made out of the same decorative tile as a beautiful feature.
We took out all the soffits and drywalled to the ceiling. We finished with a fresh new coat of coordinating paint.
