Hudson, NH Kitchen Remodel
This kitchen remodel in rural Hudson, New Hampshire was 50% remodel and 50% restoration. The project included the joining of the current kitchen and eating area into one open space. The multiple layers of ceilings were removed to show the original timber framed ceiling. The rustic appeal was complimented by a varying width wide long leaf pine floor. Antique white cabinets with dark stained cherry island and hutch cabinets provide a warm period look. The bridge faucet and apron front sink compliment the theme of the kitchen. Although an antique look was provided, modern convenience was not overlooked with the recessed and undercabinet lighting, built-in under the counter microwave and new stainless steel appliances.
