The strong shape of the tree trunk against the fence inspired the angled layout of the path in this garden and the tree trunk has been highlighted as a feature, including with uplighting. The garden is planted with a contemporary feel with grasses and textural plants with a chartreuse green and orange them that tones well with the orange bricks of the house. We were disappointed with the work of the contractor as the bricks of the retaining wall were left messy with cement. An acid scrub removes this.
