Vintage Cellars - Luxury Custom Wine Cellars OCThis Walk in Custom Wine Cellar was featured in The Wine Spectator Magazine on November 30, 2010, in the "Bigger is Better" issue covering custom wine cellars. This beautiful showcase of a wine cellar has multiple rooms, with one wine room as well as a separate area for gathering and socializing with friends. The racking is all heart redwood, with many features throughout such as arches over mirrors and a custom archway, marble counter tops, tiered racking, bin storage, large format bottle storage, horizontal displays and more.
This 4000 bottle custom wine cellar built by Vintage Cellars boasts special lighting, a sound system, and tons of differentiated wine display areas. There are even areas for collectible wine labels, and wine art the owner has collected over time.
To build this modern wine cellar was quite a construction feat in itself. The 360 square foot wine room (social space separate) features granite countertops, redwood racking, honed copper slate, leaded glass, and sculpted iron railings.

MA Peterson Design Build, Inc.The homeowners wanted a hidden wine cellar to house their extensive collection of wines, and allow the homeowners to reminisce of European getaways.
The face of the granite has a rough rock pitch edge, giving it an authentic cellar look. Cork flooring was chosen to complement the cork of the wine bottles, and niches, finished with limestone ledges, were built and lined with wine boxes from shipments of wine from around the world. Trademark Wood Products built custom mahogany racking for the wine collection. The combination of the limestone, cork floors and granite tops with subtle maroon and gold specks are combined to recreate a beautiful vacation spot close to their hearts.
Inviniti Cellar DesignThis beautiful Octagon shaped, custom wine cellar allows the owner to store very special wines in it's climate controlled space. The large island in the center of the room is covered with a cooperage wine barrel counter top. The cork flooring provides protection as well as a perfect look for the room. Vintage CellarsThis recently completed wine cellar in Rancho Santa Fe, San Diego, California is great example that small can definitely be beautiful. The homeowners had a vision to redo their older, existing wine cellar - all the meanwhile keeping some of it’s original charm. The back wall of the original wine cellar / wine room was opened up, converting an adjacent closet into an additional room for the space. The rustic and traditional stone work and vertical diamond bins were kept to maintain the old world feel. Rustic works well in the luxury country estates throughout Rancho Santa Fe, San Diego, California. The team at Vintage Cellars created a beautiful and functional wine racking design in Poplar with a custom stain and finish to match the existing wine cellar aesthetics. The wine room also features high reveal display, room for case storage, and tiered coved trays for large format bottles.
Since 1990, Vintage Cellars has designed and built over 2,000 custom wine cellars in a wide range of styles and applications.
