Delphine French Upholstered Bed
This shabby chic bed is the perfect blend of French styling and Sunday morning comfort! It has been intricately hand-carved from mahogany, with a beautifully curved upholstered headboard and footboard and elaborately carved cabriole legs. The bed frame is finished in a painstaking hand-worked 7-stage process which involves sanding, sealing, painting, varnishing, distressing, more painting and then a final coat of varnish. The ivory upholstery is then neatly finished with ivory braiding (the fabric used has subtly changed from the one pictured - our Provencal Dressing Stool shows the gentle ticking fabric now used on this beautifully upholstered bed - feel free to contact us for a sample). This is a really special (and quietly romantic) French bed that will sit beautifully with every colour scheme you might choose over the years. Fits standard UK double (4ft 6in), king (5ft) and superking (6ft) size mattresses.
This upholstered bed will be delivered in 4 boxes: headboard, footboard, siderails and slats. Self assembly is required (10-15 min and very simple!) or have it assembled for you by our drivers by purchasing our White Glove Service (£40) at the checkout.
