Sustainable KitchensShaker style kitchen with oak base cabinets painted in Farrow & Ball Purbeck Stone and island painted in Farrow & Ball Mole's Breath. The island worktop is Australian Juparana Sandstone while the base cabinets have an oak worktop. The natural stone flooring adds warmth to this kitchen.

Step into this modern kitchen, a masterclass in contrast where the depth of black meets the warmth of walnut. The black cabinetry provides a bold, dramatic backdrop, its sleek finish embodying the essence of contemporary design. In beautiful contrast, walnut accents introduce a sense of natural warmth and richness. The intricate grain of the walnut brings a layer of texture and depth, softening the stark black and adding a welcoming touch. This black and walnut kitchen, with its balance of boldness and warmth, creates a visually striking and inviting space that's perfectly modern.
Rudloff Custom BuildersThis European kitchen has several different areas and functions. Each area has its own specific details but are tied together with distinctive farmhouse feel, created by combining medium wood and white cabinetry, different styles of cabinetry, mixed metals, warm, earth toned tile floors, blue granite countertops and a subtle blue and white backsplash. The hand-hammered copper counter on the peninsula ties in with the hammered copper farmhouse sink. The blue azul granite countertops have a deep layer of texture and beautifully play off the blue and white Italian tile backsplash and accent wall. The high gloss black hood was custom-made and has chrome banding. The French Lacanche stove has soft gold controls. This kitchen also has radiant heat under its earth toned limestone floors. A special feature of this kitchen is the wood burning stove. Part of the original 1904 house, we repainted it and set it on a platform. We made the platform a cohesive part of the space defining wall by using a herringbone pattern trim, fluted porcelain tile and crown moulding with roping. The office area’s built in desk and cabinets provide a convenient work and storage space. Topping the room off is a coffered ceiling.
In this classic English Tudor home located in Penn Valley, PA, we renovated the kitchen, mudroom, deck, patio, and the exterior walkways and driveway. The European kitchen features high end finishes and appliances, and heated floors for year-round comfort! The outdoor areas are spacious and inviting. The open trellis over the hot tub provides just the right amount of shelter. These clients were referred to us by their architect, and we had a great time working with them to mix classic European styles in with contemporary, current spaces.

Tim Wood LimitedThis kitchen was commissioned by a very well-known interior designer, based in central London, for her own home. She was very keen to have a kitchen inspired by Biedermeier furniture. Biedermeier was an influential style of furniture design from Germany in the early 1800s, based on utilitarian principles. It came to describe a simpler interpretation of the French Empire style of Napoleon I: with clean lines and a simple, elegant look.
With this brief, a bespoke kitchen was made from maple with birds eye maple panelling and ebonised black detailing. Black granite work surfaces and black appliances all combine to create an extremely elegant kitchen with a neoclassical and sophisticated look. The design and placing of the cabinets and sink, the central island and the kitchen table all mean that this is a hugely practical kitchen, able to cater for and accommodate a large number of guests.

UserThis handle-less kitchen in a high gloss finish is teamed with contrasting dark stained oak flat panel doors with oak framing and end panels and brushed steel plinth. This kitchen is very well equipped with a Quooker PRO3 boiling water tap, and an extensive range of Miele appliances including twin single ovens, a combi microwave, steam oven, induction hob, dishwaster, wine cooler and built-in tall fridge/freezers to either side of the ovens in the tall units. A true cook's kitchen in contemporary style, this kitchen graces an elegant new home in Buckinghamshire. BP Kitchens & InteriorsOn one side you have a bank of tall units which is the main storage and cooker centre. In the centre behind the bespoke oak roller shutter is the Budds breakfast centre. The coffee machine, toaster and a small sink with Quooker kettle tap is all housed within this compact area that can be closed off when not in use.
Either side of that is two top of the range Siemens single ovens, a steam oven, compact microwave and oven as well as two warming drawers.
Capping off the tall units is a full height, fully integrated fridge (RHS) and freezer (LHS).

KD Project Design, LLCBy relocating the laundry room, the new layout was able to gain length and reorient the views in the space to the gorgeous backyard. Much needed island seating was added and natural light fills the new space.

The Bazeley PartnershipLocated on the dramatic North Cornwall coast and within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the clients for this remarkable contemporary family home shared our genuine passion for sustainability, the environment and ecology.
One of the first Hempcrete block buildings in Cornwall, the dwelling’s unique approach to sustainability employs the latest technologies and philosophies whilst utilising traditional building methods and techniques. Wherever practicable the building has been designed to be ‘cement-free’ and environmentally considerate, with the overriding ambition to have the capacity to be ‘off-grid’.
Wood-fibre boarding was used for the internal walls along with eco-cork insulation and render boards. Lime render and plaster throughout complete the finish.
Externally, there are concrete-free substrates to all external landscaping and a natural pool surrounded by planting of native species aids the diverse ecology and environment throughout the site.
A ground Source Heat Pump provides hot water and central heating in conjunction with a PV array with associated battery storage.
