2004 San Francisco Decorators Showcase
We removed all of the paneling from the walls and opted for a soft blue paint color with horizontal faux painted striations. The ceiling was painted white with a soft golden glazing. The clean walls and light colored ceiling lifted the weighty feel of the heavy wood, giving the room more height and an open ambience. The colors of the furnishings and window treatments in warm rust and salmon tones, combined with the soft blue and white, was used to create a sumptuous back drop inviting the view into the room.
