Should I paint my kitchen cabinets?
Hi!
My husband and I recently bought our first apartment and are doing some updates throughout... long story short the budget won't stretch as far as a full new kitchen.
We are getting new stainless steel appliances and there is room in the budget for a new counter top and backslash (I'm thinking both white as the space is a bit dark).
Our style is modern and I really don't like the orange-y color on the cabinets but they are wood and in great shape... so I was thinking about painting them. I had an estimate for resurfacing done today and at over $9K it is not in the cards for us :/
1. Would you do a light gray or white or.. something else?
2. Can anyone recommend a pro that does this kind of work in the NYC area?
