Desperate for Backspash Suggestions
We are in the throes of a major remodel. We just had our kitchen countertops and island top installed. The contractor wants to do backsplash next, and we are looking for color and material suggestions... we're just clueless. The cabinets are white, and the floor will be dark charcoal. The countertops are lemurian blue granite. The photos don't do it justice. I don't want the backsplash to outshine the countertops.
Since I'm at it... any suggestions for cabinet hardware too? Thanks for any suggestions!

8 anni faWhite subway tile is wonderful but your granite needs something with a little presence, so I leaning towards white subway glass tile or this Walter Zanger Moroccan tile.

8 anni faUltima modifica: 8 anni faI think white backsplash may not bring out the hues in your granite; may feel too stark. I might go with a grey subway, but bring home lots of samples before you decide. In regards to hardware, I'd also bring home various styles and mix up the shapes you use bottom vs top or on drawers. In regards to the finish, consider the tap and lighting that you will be using and compliment them. Brass is back and it would pick up on the gold vein in your granite and is complimentary to blue and white as well.
