Gill Design and Construction led the extensive renovation of the stone cottage I purchased In East Nashville in July 2015. The house, while very charming, was extremely outdated and in need of significant repair and renovation. The entire Gill team worked diligently to transform the outdated cottage into a showplace and an incredibly comfortable home. The massive renovation essentially re-imagined the whole house into a more livable, entertaining space. Renovations included removing walls, replacing plumbing and electrical, and reinventing existing spaces for new purposes. These included a completely new gourmet kitchen and breakfast/family area, two completely new bathrooms (including an amazing master spa retreat), the updating of a third bathroom, along with changes to every room in the house - from flooring, lighting and painting. The results of this 4 month renovation are simply spectacular. Throughout the entire process, the Gill team kept me informed, and they graciously "accommodated" my on-the-whim changes and project creep. Despite a very tight deadline, I was able to move into my house for the holidays. As much as I was excited to see the project reach its completion, admittedly I was a little bummed to see the Gill team go. Amy, Jeremy, Marty, Tony. I recently finished a design and build project with the Gills. The remodel took a master bath area situated in a historic loft and created a very unique space that is now the highlight of the home. Amy's vision for the end product far exceeded my own. The work was high-quality, non-disruptive, and finished exactly on budget. I would give Gill Design my highest recommendation to anyone. Amy helped us to take a large bonus room and half-bath and turn it into a master bedroom suite with a full bath and study. She listened to our ideas and then provided suggestions that vastly improved the project. She is friendly, helpful, creative, knowledgeable, and responsive to concerns.

Jeremy and Amy Gill are a breeze to work with. They always communicated clearly with us about what to expect, who would be at our house and when, etc. They renovated an awkward basement space for us-- finding ways to hide weird duct work, strange angles, small spaces. We now have a small but perfect guest room with a bathroom and living space and we never could have envisioned it. The detailing is beautiful. Amy is a design marvel- She learned my style quickly and was able to make suggestions on finishes that were so dead-on with my tastes! Now I want them to remodel our entire house...

We just purchased an absolutely stunning green-built home designed and built by Jeremy and Amy Gill. The custom kitchen cabinets, the gorgeous serenity of the master bath, the naturalistic landscaping, the color choices, the materials—even the knobs and number and placement of outlets—every detail of the house was obviously very well thought out. Amy and Jeremy took great care in explaining the passive solar aspect of the house, as well as the other green features—including tips on how to maximize efficiency. We look forward to spending many, many years in our lovely Gill home.

Gill Designs & Construction LLC helped make reality a 2nd bathroom expansion project that we had been scratching our heads about for years. Jeremy Gill completely gutted our 70's style kitchen and replaced it with an updated, unique design. His mastery of wood created a warm, invititing, functional space that is now my favorite room in the house. We were worried that there would not be room for all the things stored in the two large pantries, but his innovative cabinet design more than made up for it while creating an open feeling. The finish on the cabinets makes the character of the wood stand out, and his attention to detail is outstanding. Anyone wanting something more than the standard fare from big box stores at a reasonable price should seriously consider Gill Design.
