We couldn't be more pleased with the results of our project, which included a custom shed, redesigned retaining wall and patios, new planting beds, and siting and installation of a swim spa. It was clear that every person who worked on the project was committed to doing an excellent job - and they did. Given our space constraints, I don't think any other firm could have done a better job of creating such a high functioning and beautiful space. They listened to our wants and needs with true attention to detail. Highly recommend.

We have done several projects with Ream Design and highly recommend them. One of the many pleasures of working with them includes their keen eye as well as their appreciation for the artisans who work for them. Our most recent project includes reclaimed granite bridge blocks from the Charlestown bridge which are stunning! Their mason is truly an artisan who takes the time to create a work of art. We are so pleased with Ream Design and love working with Marcus, Sally and Alex.

My experience with Ream Design so far has been incredible. Sally has been a pleasure to work with and is so knowledgeable. She sat with us for several video consultations and really took the time to identify our needs in addition to our wants. I gave her a very long list of wants for my small space and in our design, Marcus not only fit them all in but did so in a way that is thoughtful and well planned so each gets its own attention without overshadowing the other or making the space feel crowded. I cannot wait to break ground with this team! They are great communicators and obviously experts in their field.

Our experience with Ream Design was great! Alex & Marcus were both very attentive to our project from start to finish. They achieved exactly what we wanted for about half the cost of another design/build firm we had previously tried to work with. Marcus focuses on the details and his punch list follow through was excellent! We look forward to working with him on our part 2 hot tub install next year.

Most importantly, Ream Design performs nothing but the highest quality work, always on schedule. We have also been very impressed with their professionalism, discretion, and flexibility!

We are very happy with the work that Ream Design has done for us - new deck/patio design and installation. They are very professional and responsive. We decided to add a hot tub into our plans and they worked with us through several iterations to get exactly what we wanted. Ream Design did a wonderful job on my landscaping project. I needed a fairly large area around an existing patio brought to life and they did exactly that. A really pleasing hardscaping portion topped off with lovely plantings. Sally and Marcus are so personable and easy to work with and they and the rest of the team were professional and knowledgeable. All phases of the job were done exactly as described in the planning document with no surprises and good communications. Changes to the plan were done via change order so I was always aware of any additional costs. I'm looking forward to having them back next spring to continue on with the plan. Mass Audubon engaged Ream Design to construct an accessible ramp for our primary headquarters building. Their competence is extraordinary. They pay close attention to detail, and they make sure that everything is built according to the plans, and in a way that will be very durable. Our ramp is comprised of cut stone and really fits the style of the building, thanks to their work. We have gotten lots of compliments on this project, and highly recommend Ream Design!

We have a completed front yard landscape now for the past 2 seasons and are very happy with our design and plantings. We started a 3 phase project in 2012 with Ream Design and completed the project in the fall of 2015. Our stone wall was the favorite part of our hardscape and the varied plantings around the wall were perfect complements. We had one dwarf Japanese maple tree that died over the winter and Ream replaced the next summer without question. There are a professional and talented group!

Our last house renovation project included the addition of a patio and plantings to provide a relaxing outdoor area. We saved the best for last! Ream Design came to the rescue by creating a vision for our space that complemented the country surroundings of orchards, rock walls and a vintage New England house. The vision became reality when Alex and Marcus arrived. Their personal installation and supervision of the project was a delightful experience. Both delivered professional expertise to the client and the project. The subcontractors were equally skilled and efficient. Every step in the patio and landscaping installation was well executed and completed in a timely manner. We thoroughly enjoyed the attention and knowledge Sally, Marcus, and Alex gave us. After having done all of our own landscaping and gardening for years we came to a point where we were seriously changing the layout of a piece of our land to increase our garden space and needed some professional help. From the start the team at Ream listened to our needs, albeit somewhat unconventional, and worked with them. As a gardener it was difficult for me to put trust in another person to work with the area around our house. I’m so glad that I finally did with Sally, Marcus, and Alex. Everyone did a wonderful job of making sure we were involved in every step of the process and happy with the results. They worked around our existing landscaping with the least impact possible and we were left with a beautiful area that we could finish with the skills that we have.
