This is my second time using Western Pavers. They always do a nice, clean and professional job. The whole team from the design consultant to the construction crew, are professional. They finished the project a head of schedule and they are very flexible on any changes I wanted to make. Louis, Jesus and Salvador are great to work with and I highly recommend Western Pavers for any of your projects

My wife and I have had a great experience working with Greg on the design of our backyard hardscape/landscape plan. I worked with dear Michelle in getting our landscape design finalized and she helped me tremendously in choosing the right layout for pavers and artificial grass and the materials for the job, all while considering my budget. I myself took considerable time to proceed with the project due to personal reasons but Michelle was patient with me and listened to my feedback and requests! She did a fabulous job at the end! We appreciated the professionalism of the Western Outdoor Design and Build design consultant team and enjoyed working with them. Our project involves the demolition of an existing wood deck and patio cover structure, removal of existing lawn areas, and construction of a paver patio, BBQ grill island, aluminum patio cover and integrated drought tolerant landscaping. Joseph Garcia’s expertise was very helpful during the initial design consultation. He made it easy for us to express our thoughts on design priorities and he made a number of valuable suggestions for alternative details that we included in the final concept. Later in the design process, the detailed construction drawings and budget breakdown he prepared were instrumental for us to evaluate the options for the major cost drivers and settle on a design that satisfies our functional priorities and will be beautiful when completed. Joseph also made it easy to sort through the multitude of options for key materials and components (i.e.; paver styles, BBQ island and countertop materials, ground cover and plants, etc.) and come to the right selections that have created a unified theme and color pallet for the backyard. Ryan’s computer rendering of the construction drawings during the final design review process allowed us to visualize the final configuration and make a few suggestions on size and clearance considerations to the layout that were then incorporated into the final construction drawings. We made the right decision selecting Western Outdoor Design to perform our project. We now look forward to the start of the demo and reconstruction phases of our project.

This review is for the design process in our project. We worked with Michelle, Vince and Tony to create a design to revive our backyard. These 3 work well together, and even more importantly work extremely well with us, incorporating our feedback and iterating the design process until all we had a design that met all of our needs. Michelle keeps the project moving with excellent communication - always responsive with excellent ideas and suggestions. When we needed to pause the design project as I was dealing with stressful issues at work, she was so understanding. Vince came up with some creative designs that I can't wait to see turned into reality! And Tony created the 3-D views that helped us understand the tradeoffs we were making along the way. An excellent design team - I am very excited to see the final project.

Western Pavers are amazing from beginning to end. Jesse started with being patient, came back to our home several times tweaking the design to meet our style and budget. The pricing out bid 8 other companies that I received quotes from. Our project manager Matt is experienced, knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. Our backyard remodel was big job with significant demolition. The foreman Chevo and his worker Cristian did the work of 20 men with ease and no complaints. Role model for our youth. They took no shortcuts. They checked several times a day and made sure we were included in all decisions. Impeccable work ethics, executed design to perfection and best communicators ever. They worked around our two dogs ensure they left a spot for them to enjoy the outside in-between tasks. Excellent experienced, great quality work and wonderfully dynamic team!! Impressive all around

The entire Western team did a superb job on our backyard renovation project. From working with Greg on architecture/design (including working through options and changes to manage our budget) to working closely with Chilo, the project superintendent, and his crew (Victor and the others), we were consistently impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of the entire team. Working with Chilo was particularly great because we really felt we was in good hands making sure the project was well-managed with the highest quality of work. Chilo was proactive in addressing the inevitable small details, changes and the like that are necessary to implement a large project and turn plans into a reality. We didn’t feel the need to look over anyone’s shoulder because we know Chilo and the team were prioritizing quality in their workmanship to deliver a great result. Will definitely use Western again on future projects.

We have been very happy working with Joseph and Ryan at Western Outdoor Designs. We really appreciate all the time they have put into designing our dream backyard. Joseph the landscape designer is extremely talented and really listened to what we wanted. He was open and honest about how much things would cost which was appreciated. Later we met him and Ryan at the showroom where they showed us a 3D design of our backyard. It was beautiful and it really showed us exactly what our backyard could look like. Ryan was able to move things around and make changes in the 3D design right there. They were both very patient and professional with us. I am very happy we found such a great team of designers to help us.

We just completed a total redesign of our backyard; both hardscape and soft scape. Long process from design to completion, but we are beyond in love with the final result! Team on site was great and the work exceeded our expectations.

We had a great experience. We redid the whole back and front yards, with soft and hardscaping, in a multi month project. The crew is very professional, clean and knowledgeable on what they are doing. Western Outdoor Designs did a great job with my property in Vista. I am very happy with the design that Greg came up with for my house and seeing the 3D work by Tony was wonderful. The work was completed in a very coordinated 15-day manner. It really is very impressive to think about what was accomplished in those 15 days by Victor and his crew -tearing out concrete and plants, grading, hauling away debris on a regular basis, following the plans in placing and cutting pavers, and laying the artificial grass.

Michelle and her team are beyond exceptional! Very professional, high level of attention to detail with very smart and functional design ideas. She is always ready to answer any questions/concerns and does it with such a kind and pleasant attitude. We had such a wonderful experience working with Michelle and her team and wouldn’t hesitate calling her again for our next project.

We did an extensive bidding process, looking at 6 vendors for our backyard project, and went with Western Pavers, as their quality and attention to detail seemed to be the best. They paid attention to little things, such as brass drain grates instead of plastic offered by other vendors, folding a drainage design into our existing drains, and hiding some of our existing cleanouts into the design - and this is what we were looking for in the finished project. Jesse, our salesman, was very attentive to every detail on our wish list. Once we found the right paver, color, and sealant, as well as two beautiful matching fire bowls, we were ready to go. The demolition crew was nothing short of amazing – an incredible amount of work done by just 2-3 guys in a couple of days. Then, Jesus, the project foreman came out for a walkthrough of our design, and he confirmed everything exactly as we wanted. Jesus ensured that everything was done correctly, and even when there we slight deviations, or an unexpected surprise, such as coming across a buried electrical line, Jesus made sure that everything was fixed quickly, fixed correctly, and the project continued. Nothing fazed Jesus, and he handled every problem we encountered with ease. The crew installing the pavers were extremely hard-working and meticulous craftsmen. Miguel was the onsite job chief and did a fantastic job directing his crew to make just the right cuts and placements. When the pavers were all down and placed, we were simply amazed at how beautiful they came out, but we were not done. Once the rains backed off, Miguel and his crew returned to apply the color-enhancing sealant we ordered – absolutely beautiful, and we were thrilled with the color and finish! And finally last week, our two gorgeous fire bowls arrived. Jesus, Miguel, Marco, and some other very strong men arrived the very next day to carry these 200-300 giants into the backyard, hooked them up to the gas lines, and fired them up. Jesse came by later that day to check in with us one last time. Everything was expertly done, the project oversight was excellent, and we simply could not be happier with our new backyard. We give Western Pavers the highest rating possible without reservation, and we will surely have them back if we decide to transform the front of the house. We're so pleased with the landscaping design and execution work from Western Pavers! Jerry and Vince worked with us 8 months in advance to discuss our vision for our back and front yards and created a beautiful design. Then when our home construction was complete, the team, who was lead by Matt, submitted permits for our pool in a timely manner and then diligently worked on the landscaping project from start to finish over the next 9 months. They showed up every day during the week and even came on some weekends. They adhered to deadlines for each part of the project and clearly communicated with us if there were any changes to the schedule. Matt was especially responsive to all of our questions and feedback, which we really appreciated. The entire team was fantastic to work with and we highly recommend them!

Death, taxes, and good contractors are hard to find. After owning my first home and doing some substantial work on all parts of the house and property I’ve learned this third certainty in life. Or maybe it’s just me?? Western Pavers has been an absolute pleasure to work with so far. We have just completed our planning and design phase with Joe Garcia, our Design Consultant. Given the large scale of what we want to have done to the property we decided to split the project into multiple phases. Joe’s done a great job at giving my wife and I confidence we are making the right choices to do what we can now, and prepare well for the future. As the job progresses I will add further details to this post.

My husband and I met Louis at Western Pavers showroom in San Marcos. We were looking for landscape ideas and what a great place to see possibilities for backyard project. We came in with a strict budget and an idea in mind. Louis was able to design our project and Ryan was able to show us the plan in 3D. In addition, the company management was able to give discount on paving materials. We loved the design!! We are excited about getting our project started.

Western Outdoor Designs was recommended to us by my sister who had recently completed an amazing landscape project at her new home. We reached out to Greg Wysong and he quickly arranged a meeting at our home. He was both professional & personable and very attentive to our thoughts. Greg came up with a design that was beautiful, creative and operated within our budget. The workmanship was stellar. The finished project exceeded our expectations and our neighbors love it too. I hired Western Pavers upon the recommendation of my neighbor. We needed to update areas of our backyard including paver restoration, stone added to patio posts and repair work around the posts. Working with the sales person Joshua and designer Chilo has been such a pleasant experience. They are very reliable in their appointments with us and explain every phase of the job clearly and in a well organized manner. They are very accommodating in giving us useful ideas and made it easy to make changes along the way. We loved the workmanship of this project so much that we have already begun work on a new project that includes a new patio seating area and custom fire pit. We have no doubt that this project will be just as well done as the first. We are very pleased with the quality of work, communication and price with Western Pavers. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a professional home project with a great experience.

When my wife and I first met Joseph, we new this was someone we wanted to work with and trust to design our backyard. He’s personable, authentic, and really took the time to understand us and our lifestyle to collaboratively create a vision for our backyard. When he presented us with his design at the Western Outdoor Design showroom, it far exceeded our expectations. It was thoughtful, comprehensive, simple… a truly elegant work of art. Ryan, Josephs colleague, who I refer to as the man behind the curtain… the Wizard of Oz, brought the design to life through a 3D rendering of what our back yard would look like. They walked us through several scenarios in where we could cut cost, modeling different looks, adding/ deleting certain elements, even adjusting the Sun throughout the year to demonstrate patterns of shade at varying times of the day. We went with the original design because why mess with the artist(s) and their work. If you’re looking for a backyard design, give Joseph and Ryan a shot… you won’t be disappointed. We’re looking forward to the vision becoming a reality and hope the execution/ construction is as enjoyable as working with Joseph and Ryan!

Our process began well with our Western Pavers salesman, who was very informative and who worked to keep us within our budget. Our goal was to replace our flagstone patio with pavers, erect a new patio cover, install new grass, and refresh our hillside landscape. The problems began early in the project planning process. The 3D rendering we received didn't reflect the vision we had discussed, and our project plans were incomplete. We never received a new 3D rendering, nor did the salesman show up for our first meeting/project walk-through with our project manager to ensure that all details were properly conveyed. We did have a productive first meeting with our project manager, who was friendly and knowledgeable. Although our communication with the project manager was positive during the first half of the project, we never received a project calendar or planning timeline. The project team was respectful and worked very hard to complete our project. The project manager accomplished our hardscape vision for our new patio and retaining wall quickly and with only a few minor issues which were quickly resolved. We felt then and still do that the quality of hardscape work was excellent – it is clear that Western’s core competency is paver installation! As we moved into the softscape phase, the project started to go off the rails. Prior to installing and planting grass and flowers, we received no planting or irrigation plans. The plants and grass just showed up one day, and they proceeded to install them based upon phoned-in instructions from the Western Pavers main office. We had chosen the plants shortly after signing our contract, but were not consulted on the planting design or layout. They also proceeded to install sprinklers when we had specifically contracted for drip irrigation. Prior to planting, they did a poor job of grading and prepping the hill, leaving us with plants poorly situated in rough dirt with the wrong type of irrigation system, leading to a massive weed issue within a few weeks. We met with the project manager and expressed our concerns. He was polite and receptive to our feedback and acknowledged that they had not installed the irrigation type specified in the contract; however, he was not empowered to conduct further rework and left us unsatisfied as to a corrective plan. We felt forced to contact corporate for resolution. We spoke to the head of production, who arranged for an on-site meeting with the plant designer. She created a corrective plan for the irrigation, replacing the sprinklers with the contracted-for drip system and thoroughly mulching the hill to suppress weeds. However, they were not willing to relocate plants or fundamentally change the layout, which we never had input on. Despite the major rework required on our hillside, we never received a follow-up phone call from head of production. Although we understand we were not one of their bigger projects, we expected a better process and overall outcome.

We selected Western Outdoor Designs for extensive improvements to our patio area and are extremely happy with that decision! We love our beautiful new pavers, retaining walls, hardscape, landscape plants and lighting system, as well as the great new drainage and irrigation systems. For the design, Joseph and Tony enabled us to define our project's scope through the amazingly realistic computer model they created of our existing yard/patio. This model could be quickly changed during our meeting so we could actually see various improvement (and cost) alternatives. Chilo then superbly managed the construction process - he got the job done very efficiently with highly skilled and professional workers, assured exceptional quality throughout, and very important to us, Chilo kept us informed and was always reachable. Chilo, Joseph, Tony and the whole Western Outdoor Designs team clearly were always focused on delivering great results while keeping us on our budget.

We wanted to replace our cracked concrete driveway and sidewalks with paving stones and were walking in our neighborhood and saw a very nice driveway. We talked to the guys working on the project, got a number and gave Western Outdoors a call. Dustin came out and we discussed what we wanted to do and after some time we met back at the showroom and saw the plan. It was all that we expected, and more, with detailing that we had not considered. We signed up, and then met Chilo, the project manager. He and his crew were great, the level of workmanship is excellent, and they were easy to work with when we made some small changes. Luis and Celso kept us informed about what was being done each day and made sure sure we were happy as they went along. Western Outdoor Design is not the least expensive option, but if you want a great looking driveway that is built to last, you can't beat them.

We hired Western Outdoor to design and build our custom backyard, including a pool and outdoor living area. Our design team was Michelle, Vince and Tony and from the beginning, they were by far the most professional and easiest to communicate with. We vetted multiple companies, but you notice a clear difference with this team in their approach, experience and willingness to listen to your ideas as well. They spent time understanding our style and how we wanted to use the space; then came back with a plan for our property which blew us away and exceeded our expectations. We've recently started construction and are very excited to enjoy the finished product, but can't recommend Michelle, Vince, Tony and the entire Western Outdoor team more highly. We plan to add photos once complete!

We are extremely disappointed by the work performed by Western. It’s clear to me that the company is solely focused on selling and once a contract is signed they have no intention of actually executing on what they promised. They are more than happy to complete shoddy work and sign off on it. I consider the way they handled our project to be fraudulent. There was absolutely no attention to detail and no oversight of the crew. I expressed multiple concerns to the project manager early on and nothing was done. I complained enough that I was put in contact with the company’s operations manager who promised they would send their best crew out to fix things. Unfortunately, every time they came to “fix” something it only got worse, so I eventually just stopped complaining. A few of the issues: Several pavers were cracked or chipped. I asked for them to be replaced, and some were, but others were never fixed. They also didn’t clean the pavers before sealing and sealed on top of dirt and mud. The crew they sent to build the fence did a horrible job. They installed the entire fence in the wrong style and later disassembled and reassembled it using the same wood, so it looks like it’s been made of scraps. It seemed like they had no idea what they were doing, and it turns out they didn’t. I was later told by the operations manager that this crew doesn’t normally do fences, and they were essentially learning on the job. They installed irrigation for the new sod lawn but did not test it before installing the sod. The sprinkler didn’t work, so many sections failed to root. They came back to fix it and had to dig up about half the lawn to replace sprinklers, so now half the lawn is uneven and dead. Why wouldn’t they test the sprinklers before laying $10k worth of sod? Other sections of sod were laid over gravel and paver sand so they also failed to root. They also had no idea what they were doing when they installed the gas fire pit and it took them weeks to get it to light properly. They repeatedly told me it was working but when it went to test it, it either wouldn’t light or the flames would be extremely small. They eventually got it working, but we are still concerned by the fact that there wasn’t a licensed gas plumber installed, and I’m not convinced it’s safe to use or up to code. In summary we ended up with a fence that looks like it was made of scraps, a lawn that is dying, an irrigation system that doesn’t work, dead plants that they won’t replace, and sloppy paver work. Before the project was even complete, I was scheduling other contractors to come fix Western’s mistakes. Horrible company that I can’t believe is still in business.

My wife and I were struggling with coming up with a plan for our backyard, that has a tricky terrain. We decided to contact Western Pavers to get ideas and a quote. We were very happy that we did. They sent a team of people to our house to survey the property. In a short time, they came back to us with a beautiful and well thought out plan to design our property. We were assigned Matt, to be our project manager. He was awesome! Matt was easy to work with and has a keen vision on making adjustments in the field that highlighted our property very well. They took our blank 2 acre slate of yard and added different levels, pool, paver walkways, bridge, lightning, play yard area, and beautiful landscape to finish. For us it was a no brainer to hire Western Pavers. We will hire them again in the future when other projects arise. Thank you Matt and the Western Paver team!

This review is for the DESIGN TEAM at Western Outdoor Design & Build. If you are interested in updating your outdoor living space, Western Outdoor Design & Build is AMAZING! A little background on us; My husband & I moved into our house in 2009 (the house was built in 1998) Our pool has a plaster finish and given that it is 20+ years later it is showing signs of wear & the concrete decking is also cracking. Our first thought was to just do a pool remodel, but then thought of the cracking decking & realized that we also needed to update our hardscape. We had always dreamed of putting in an outdoor Kitchen, so we figured now was the time for that too. We started doing lots of research then came across Western Outdoor Design & Build. Their designs and project photos looked so professional, beautiful & upscale. The design team really knows what they are doing & the construction team followed thru on the designs yielding amazing outdoor spaces for each of these lucky customers. This was what we were looking for! We contacted Western Outdoor Design & Build so that they could walk our outdoor spaces & get the ball rolling on finding out what the possibilities were for our property & to get a quote for what we were thinking. We met with Michelle Page & Vince Nigro on our property and were instantly impressed with their professional, friendly, knowledgeable demeanors. They both had so many great ideas on how to include components that my husband & I wanted in creative & useful ways & came up with other great ideas we hadn’t thought of. We went over all of the wish list items and the rough layout where we wanted certain things to be in preparation for the Design Meeting we would have. The Design Meeting was AMAZING! We had heard of the scenario where a company meets with the client & shows them a computer-generated rendition of what their project would look like in still photos & video format, but nothing prepared us for what we were about to see. We met with Michelle, Vince & Tony in their viewing room & they showed us our design. We were like kids on Christmas morning gleefully soaking up the images we were seeing. As soon as the video had finished, we asked to see it again & again. There was so much detail and everything was so beautiful that we were mesmerized. Tony was so adept at utilizing the computer to show us our project from every angle. What is the view of the outdoor space from our bedroom window, from the patio door, from a chaise on the Baja Shelf, Aerial view? He showed us everything. Michelle & Vince listened to all of our wish list items & everything was reflected in the designs, but in fresh new ways that my husband & I never thought was possible. They really knocked it out of the park! We signed the contracts to get the ball rolling & are now honing in our material selections in preparation for construction plans & permits so that we can get closer to starting construction. We are thrilled so far!

I have consulted with three different contractors for our front yard redesign and Western Outdoor Designs was by far the best. We love the design they have done for us. Joe and Amber have been amazing to work with so far. We are very excited for the work to begin and will provide an update soon on the outcome!

Western Outdoor is exceptional! The work they do is superior. Our Project Manager, Matt S., is one of a kind! His communication and follow through is the best we have ever seen. He is organized, exceptionally communicative, honest and he follows through on everything. We always knew whatever was discussed would happen. He works so hard and you can tell that his heart is in the project he is working on. Even during challenging times, he is kind and makes it all happen. Matt is approachable and so easy to work with. We would love to work with him again! We would recommend Western Outdoor without a doubt! We are so happy to have found them and to have had the luck of working with Matt.

What a great company to do our project. We had our whole pool deck replaced. We had a concrete deck and it was collapsing. Louis the sales rep came out and helped us to design a great deck to replace the concrete with pavers. Victor was our project manager and he was great. Every time we had a concern or problem he immediately responded and solved the issue. i would recommend this company if you are doing a project on your property. They were prompt clean and friendly. Also got the job done 2 weeks before the expected completion date.

Let me be honest with myself, I am a customer with very high expectations Pros: 1.Great design work with Greg and Adrian being very patience with our multiple iterations working to get to a certain budget. Soooo knowledgeable. 2.The quality of their work was above expectations. They consistently go the extra mile. I didn’t realize how much work goes into the project. 3.Excellent communication throughout project. Texts were usually returned within one hour or less. Matt the project manager, was pretty much on sight daily to ensure no surprises, and had outstanding and fluid communication with design team, senior project manager that was involved when Matt was on honeymoon, and me. I felt I could communicate openly with Matt and be honest. 4.The concrete company led by the owner, Scott, was like an artist. Everything was done so meticulously, and I gained a much deeper appreciation for the work required. 5.I liked the flexibility and objectivity of Matt as he worked through the plans and realized there were some changes that were needed. 6.When faced with drainage issues due to roots, the incremental costs were reasonable for the costs and work incurred. 7.This was a major renovation of or backyard, with a lot of complexity and Matt and others were very creative in their solutions. Project involved major demolition, major pool renovation, building a bbq, drainage, gas lines, firepit, overhang, concrete, walls, essentially a new pool, tile / stone work, etc. 8.All the workers were very professional, dressed appropriately, polite, courtesy, helpful, didn’t smoke, very skilled, and on-time.

Having used Western Pavers in 2016 to remodel the back yard, I again chose them for a front yard remodel. Craig was again the initial contact assigned to help design exactly what I envisioned. Chilo, the project manager, has been great at working on making that vision a reality. The team assigned to work the job has been very detailed in the design. Highly recommended!

We’ve been working with Joe on our front yard project and it’s been great! Joe is very thorough, detailed and extremely professional. I’d give 5 stars but we haven’t completed the project yet. Thus far the entire team has been extremely detailed oriented. If you’re looking for a legit turnkey company that stands behind their work, these people are it. We’ve had friends use Joe and his team and their backyard, patio and walkways are GORGEOUS. We’re so excited to see how our yard wraps up!

We just started a major back yard project with Western Pavers and so far we are very happy with their service and professionalism. We discussed our many ideas with the design team Michelle and Vince. They are both very personable and patient. They take the time to answer every question and clearly strive to meet our high hopes for realizing an awesome back yard space. It is so satisfying to see our vision translated into a detailed design. Tony joined our recent design meeting and his services were a huge value-add as he was able to manipulate a 3D design in real time so we could make little tweaks to get every detail nailed down. It was incredibly helpful to see that 3D rendering in order to make some key decisions. We are super excited to take the next steps and will update our review as our project progresses... Update 12/21/20: Since writing my initial review of Western Pavers, specifically the design process thus far, we have added plans for our front yard as well as made materials selction for the whole project. We continue to be very happy with the level of service we have received. Vince was prompt and responsive with front yard plans and project revisions. Michelle was extremely helpful in choosing various materials and we are super excited to take the next steps once we receive approval from our HOA to move forward. So far, so good!

We have only gone through the planning process to date, but so far it has been very smooth and professional. The 3D design is a great touch and really helps you visualize the space. Joe has been great to work with. Hoping the rest of the process goes as smoothly!

We recently met with Joseph and Tony regarding changing the landscape of our front yard. Prior to the meeting, Joseph came to our house and gave us ideas we had never even imagined. Someone came and took photos of our house and took measurements. When we got to their facility we were impressed with the number of different displays they had and choices of pavers, tile and water features. As we started to go over the design Tony showed us on a large screen a picture of our house with the new driveway, steps and planting. When we suggested any changes Tony immediately Implemented them on the screen. He changed colors of pavers and with Joseph's expertise changed plants and trees. The visual display really lets you know how the finished product will look, using your own home. The software is amazing and the level of professionalism shown us by Joseph was instrumental in our decision. We are looking forward to making his unique vision a reality.

In 2018 we moved into a brand new, just built home in a new gated community, that had no landscaping. After an extensive amount of research and interviewing 3 companies, we settled on Western Pavers. Our designer, Craig was very professional and personable. He is an outstanding designer who is highly creative, an attentive listener and pays attention to detail. He brought our vision to life, which included a blending of high end modern Italian Villa and Mediterranean elements. Our Project Manager, Jesus, was also very professional and demonstrated a high degree of experience and knowledge. He was very patient in listening to our questions and concerns, and provided us with honest, up front answers. Additionally, Shelby was very patient and professional, with an extraordinary knowledge base of every aspect of landscape design… from designing to construction and planting. She diligently worked to implement our planting vision. All the Western Pavers office staff are professional and friendly… from administrative assistants, to accounting and office managers. Furthermore, the entire construction crew, supervised by Victor, was always punctual, working weekends and some holidays. They showed a great deal of respect to their client’s privacy and property. Victor, demonstrated a high degree of knowledge and problem-solving skills, as did Aaron. As a result of my experience, I have recommended Western Pavers to other homeowners and will continue to do so.

We are about to start fully initiate the actual construction with Western and just had a detailed planning meeting. First of all, I am in general a very tough critic and not the easiest customer. But so far it seems to be a terrific match and I am very bullish the construction will go well. In my accountant style, here are my pros and cons. Pros: Very knowledgeable and get outstanding design advice Greg and Adrian are terrific partners in the design / drawing process and work in a seamless manner, and have always been very timely and thorough One stopping shopping makes it significantly easier as a customer, especially when you and your wife have different views Outstanding selection on all components needed for a major project Reasonable pricing for what you get (don't expect a dirt low price, but I think I can expect quality) Very professional and upfront Before starting the job, had a very comprehensive meeting with the project manager for close to 3 hours as a team going through every detail ensuring no misunderstanding. They seem to have been in business for a long time and take it seriously. This is no "mom and pop" shop. Everything is documented, and contracted to ensure no surprises. Cons: not overly concerning at this point or I would not have chosen them. I will check back with you after it is done.

I first used them for a major paver and patio cover installation about 4 years ago. This time I had them come out to refill polymeric sand and expand the pacer area. They are efficient professional and have great communication. Would definitely recommend them.

Western remodeled our backyard and pool and we are thrilled with the final product and our new backyard oasis. Western consistently has been respectful of our property and us. We had a minor issue with one portion of the backyard, and Western and its subcontractor were quick to work with us to not only solve the problem, but to make the outcome even better than expected. Our interactions with the people of Western, from the front office to the upper management, all have been productive, civil and collaborative. We highly recommend Western Outdoor Designs for quality work, professional business practices and superb results.

We recently completed a project replacing our driveway and walkways with pavers. From beginning to end we found Western Pavers quality to be superb. Craig Anderson’s knowledge and sense of design helped us capture the exact look and style we were trying to achieve. Chilo Velazquez, our project manager, was highly competent, attentive, accommodating, and ensured our property was well cared for during the entire process. We would highly recommend them to anyone and will absolutely use them again for future projects.

So Far So Good! We're still in process, so this review is for the preconstruction portion of their services only. Greg W. has been great to work with so far. Very knowledgeable and prompt. Our initial consultation consisted of a long sit-down in our home with him while he listened to our list of wants and needs. His attentive nature and creative ability gave us an immediate level of comfort with him, and we can't wait to see the finished product! Their in-house 3d rendering capabilities are a nice additional feature, as well as their materials show-room in San Marcos. I will update this review once we are complete.

Jordan, Jesus and crew did a fabulous job with the pavers, irrigation, lights and landscaping around our pool. Everyone in the company was very helpful and courteous. They accommodated our time schedule for meetings and were always on time and very professional. I appreciate the time that both Jordan and Jesus took with us to make sure we were happy and everything went smoothly. Our back yard looks fantastic. We could not be happier.

So far - So great! I had consultations with 4 landscape companies and narrowed it down to my top two. From our first meeting and in each meeting since, It is apparent that there is something special about these guys. We are in the beginning phases of our backyard project and have been working with Joe, Landscape Designer and Tony, Tech Guy (I have no idea what his actual job title is, but he does all the 3D computer renderings. So “Tech Guy” it is. Lol. Sorry Tony) Joe has been amazing! You can tell that he really enjoys landscape design in general and it is exciting to see how passionate he gets when talking about our project! I’m stoked to be working with him! His attention to detail and follow up skills are top notch. He is one of the main reasons we decided to chose this company. He is great at listening to all of our crazy wants and needs and helping us put it all together in a design that works for our space - as well as our style. Tony is a wiz on the computer! It’s impressive how he can listen to your ideas, glance at a picture, and whip it up right before your eyes! BAM! There it is in the rendering! It should be noted that this was - BY FAR - the best presentation I saw. It was SUPER helpful in the decision making process to be able to see what different elements would look like in the design. This is another one of the main reasons I chose this company. I can’t wait to get the project started & I am even more pumped for when it’s finished!! Tried to use them. Took months to work out everything and then the 3D designer disappeared, saying they were too busy. I don’t recommend if you have a project that you’re looking forward to break ground on.

Top notch group from beginning to end. The sales design process with Josh and Adrian went as well as anyone could have hoped. We were in constant contact, worked within budget and came up with fantastic ideas to implement during the process. Chilo was fantastic to work with as well as he kept us informed the whole way during the construction phase and especially while we dealt with weather he was always in touch letting us know next steps and was very detail oriented in making sure everything turned out perfect. If the opportunity arises they will be my first call.

Western Outdoor Design and Build provided services to fully landscape our property which included front yard, courtyard, backyard with patio, bbq, water feature and turf. Greg Wysong was our designer and he did a fabulous job! We found Greg to be extremely professional, competent, knowledgeable, and meticulous. He was not only easy to work with, but a pleasure to work with. Greg worked tirelessly to create a beautiful plan incorporating all of the design features that we desired and attended to every last detail in the plans such that the results of our project matched our expectations. Tony did a great job of producing a 3-D video version of our proposed landscape design so that we could visualize it on a large screen, which was very helpful. Chilo was our project superintendent and was also a pleasure to work with.Chilo made himself available to us, was approachable, courteous and respectful. We appreciated how responsive he was to our concerns. Chilo worked very hard to make sure the plan was carried out to our satisfaction. My husband and I are most pleased with the results and are enjoying our newly landscaped property, thanks to the team at Western!

We have a large backyard remodel and bid it out to 4 different companies. Western Outdoor Designs were by far the most responsive and comprehensive. Our designer, Greg, came out to our house for an initial visit to understand what our vision was and after some back and forth materials, designs, budget, we came by to their office 2 weeks later to review initial plans and material. They have a very nice showroom that allowed us to pick and choose exactly what we wanted while understand the cost impact of things. As part of the plan review, Ryan, 3D renderings expert, showed us a first view as to what our backyard would like like in a video. It was really nice to get a feel for it right away. 2 meetings later and more back and forth (especially on budgets), we are moving forward with them with most of what we initially asked for and very close to budget. We are very pleased with the overall process and would recommend them.

Shelby, Warranty Department and Jesus, Project Manager from Westers Outdoor Design & Build did a wonderful job for our home backyard. They care about customers so much, they know exactly what customers want. They are so efficient, so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. From the beginning the design team at Western Outdoor Design and Build (consisting of Michelle, Tony, & Vince) have been incredible to work with! We selected Western Outdoor Designs because we were impressed by their level of professionalism in listening to our ideas and requests for our yard remodel project. The project design was recently completed and we couldn't be happier with the process and attention to detail. We have had meetings with our designer, Greg, both at the project site and his office. It was particularly helpful to have his assistant, Tony, create a 3D model of our property so we could have a good idea of dimensions, locations and what the final makeover will look like. We will start construction in November and can't wail to see our new backyard in a few months.

We are renovating both our front and back yards with a new driveway, retaining walls, irrigation, a deck, fountain, and irrigation systems. We started with an initial design by another firm We have strong opinions and our first designer probably was uncomfortable with our level of input. Western Pavers, under the design lead of Greg Wysong, took over our project and has been working with us closely to create the landscape we want. Greg has provided his expertise and artistic insight to guide us in our choice of materials and layouts, and to keep us from design options that were outside of our budget. To help us visualize our project, Tony created a 3D rendering or our initial design. Western Pavers and staff have been very professional, organized, and clear about their services and contracts since the start of the project. We look forward to starting construction with them soon as our plans are almost finalized.

We are so pleased with the outcome of our retaining wall. Brian was pleasure to work with. He was very friendly and excellent at explaining all the details! The crew was very professional and kept everything clean! I would definitely recommend Western Pavers!

Great at sales, we paid them $3500 to draw up plans, and when we decided to ask for the plans we paid for, they would only provide PDF plans, which were useless for moving forward with our project. After several attempts to resolve the issue, they stopped responding and referred to the fine print in their contract. Very different than what we were told upfront by the salesman Ed. I cannot recommend working with them at all. Proceed at your own risk. Caveat emptor.

We are in the process of remodeling our backyard to make our pool deeper, add a rock slide and redo our fire pit. From the very first meeting with Greg and Justin we have been extremely impressed. They are both very professional, prompt and great to work with. I appreciate how communicative they are with their appointments and how they make us feel as if we are their only customers (even though we know we aren't). My husband and I absolutely love their showroom! They have so many options to chose from and the water and coffee is a nice perk too. We appreciate how Justin is so honest and helpful with the pool suggestions. He isn't pushy, but he will be upfront and honest with you to inform you what will last, what he recommends, what he uses most, etc. He even poured water on some of the quartz and pebbletec so we could see how the colors changed and how smooth or rough the surfaces became which helped us in our decision making process. Greg has been very kind and professional and we loved their slideshow when they presented to us their bid. After that initial bid meeting we left feeling happy and excited to kick off our backyard and pool remodel. Lastly, one thing we are extremely happy about is they never say "no." My husband and I had other companies come out to meet with us and give us quotes and every single other company would say "no" to one of our requests or asks; whereas Greg and Justin at Western have always said yes and they can fulfill all of our needs and wants. We are very excited for the remodel process to unfold and to see our finished pool and backyard. Thank you Justin and Greg for your excellent recommendations and suggestions!

Greg has been AMAZING! From our first meeting he truly listened to our ideas, met us multiple times at our house and at his studio to ensure he got everything we wanted included in the design. The studio has all the materials and products displayed so it made selecting the materials for our patio quick and easy! When it was time to present our plan he and Tony created this fantastic 3D video that showed the entire area from sun up to sundown so we could get a true feeling of what our patio area would look like. That video was so helpful to ensure we got everything exactly how we wanted it. Greg packaged everything together for approval with the City and our HOA. The entire process has been seamless and fun! After doing a lot of research of outdoor design companies that we would potentially use to update our backyard, we decided to use Western Outdoor Design and Build. From the very beginning, when just making an inquiry via phone a call to our initial meeting with Craig Anderson, we have been pleased with every aspect of our backyard upgrade so far (it's still in process). Craig came out to meet us at our home for the initial meeting and listened intently to our questions, concerns, and design ideas for our backyard upgrade/project. He was very helpful and gave us much comfort when asking questions, especially when showing him our ideas and what we hoped to accomplish with our project. Craig spent time viewing and measuring our backyard and determined what could be done within the scope of our goals and presented a well-thought out design with a reasonable estimate of the overall cost. After choosing to go with Western Outdoor, and having Craig be our design expert (especially since he was trustworthy and had gave us great ideas to consider with our project), Craig came out to our house again to explain the process of the project. We then meet with Craig in the office and viewed the design plans in 3D. This was an amazing aspect as it really helped us "see" how great the final project would be. We then meet Craig again one more time in the office and picked out the details (i.e., pavers, stone detail, finishes, BBQ equipment, etc.) for our backyard. Then once the design plans were approved by the city, Craig came out and introduced us to our project manager, Chilo, for the job. The whole team working on our backyard project are easy to talk too and an easy text/phone call/email away. The job/project is still in the beginning stages, and we couldn't be pleased more with what is happening. We are looking forward to the end result.

Scheduling an appointment with Western was a breeze, the lady who answered the call was very professional - a great first impression. We contacted a few more companies to schedule appointments for quotes and were surprised that some of them didn't even return phone calls. Craig is very knowledgeable and easy to work with (that's why we choose to work with him). He came to our house a couple of times - one for initial meeting and one for measurements. We only vaguely told him what we like as we had no idea what we want. He took the very minimal information and nailed both the front and backyards designs within few hours. We thought that we would take the initial design as a starting point and then go back and forth a few times to revise the design, but we really like Craig initial design - it looks very balanced and well-thought. Craig gave a very detailed estimate and there is no obligation to use them until you sign the contract and then they send you the design plan. We signed the contract that same day. So now, we just need to pick the materials. We were very impressed with Craig's work and highly recommend him.

My wife and I have had a very gratifying experience consulting with Western Outdoor Design & Build on a landscape design solution for our oddly-shaped back yard. From the start, when Vince and Michelle first met us at our home, we enjoyed excellent rapport. They were both fountains of practical information, creative ideas, and advice. Vince quickly educated us about design possibilities, the pros and cons, and helped us think differently about solutions. We were pleased to discover that he had experience working on similar projects in our very neighborhood. He understood the particulars related to permitting and fire codes, and was familiar with the process of submitting formal plans to our homeowners association. Very comforting! While Vince developed the initial landscape concept (that we reviewed using amazing 3D visualization software), Michelle not only made sure we always understood were we were in the overall process, but she found ways to advocate for tweaks here and there in order to improve the design concepts we were evaluating. Both Vince and Michelle, as a team, brought a great sense of design, art, and functionality to our project. We are very appreciative of our working relationship with Vince and Michelle, and everyone we’ve met at Western. For us, taking on this kind of a project has been pretty daunting. Vince and Michelle have helped us feel confident and excited about moving forward.

Recently I signed contract with Western Pavers, Inc for landscape construction project. Ms. Michelle Page from the sales and Mr. Ed Whitehouse of landscape architect helped a lot to put the bid together. After several years of unsuccessful planning with different design/build firms, we found Western Outdoor Designs. From our initial meeting with their designer Craig Anderson, to follow on conferences with him and landscape architect Ed Whitehouse, they got the essence of the outdoor space we want. They really listened to what we envisioned for our backyard, encouraged collaboration on the design, and created beautiful 3D renderings showing what we can expect. We had several desired custom features that they were very patient in capturing. We would have given them 5 stars if it hadn’t been for the cost even after cutting several of our favorite elements. We look forward to continuing to work with Western Outdoor and anticipate many enjoyable years in our beautiful outdoor space that they will create in 2019.

Western Outdoors did a fantastic job with assessing, designing, and planning for both our front and backyard. Their attention to detail, along with their timely follow ups, made this process very easy. Our Project Manager, Matt, was very accommodating, and he was with us for every step of the way. We hit a few bumps along the way, but Matt listened to our concerns and delivered to our expectation. Our project included turf, pavers, retaining walls, plants, and a swimming pool. Since there were a lot of moving parts, it was a little overwhelming at times, but Matt and the workers kept it smooth and moving in the right direction. The quality of work, the willingness to address our concerns, and their ability to deliver a beautiful final product definitely supports the fact that we made the right decision to go with Western Outdoors. We would certainly use Western Outdoors for all of our future projects!

Woohoo!! Looking fwd for the LAST final phase. The project manager assigned, Chilo, has been awesome through out the process. Definitely the rains slowed down the process, but being notified through each step during the renovation was awesome. The crew that Chilo picked was awesome for my project who would actual give suggestions/revisions during the build for REAL WORLD Situations not seen in Craig's initial plans/blueprint. They were professional and worked hard and fast and clean up daily was great. The project manager also took care of the minor accidental mishap on the AC done during the demolition phase. Definitely Chilo and his crew's quickness led me to also pass out referrals and I know so far one family (D & J Cui###) has signed up an additional contract with their designer Michelle.

I met with 5 other local landscape design companies and ultimately went with Western Outdoor Designs for our design and build. Michelle and Vince were friendly and professional right from the start. We have a big lot and had a rough idea of the 'must haves' but didn't know where they should go or how to make it all look cohesive. The initial meeting with Michelle and Vince was fantastic because it was so thorough--they spent a lot of time with us and asked questions and then Vince walked the lot and provided a detailed estimate. When we went to the showroom to see our 3D design, we were blown away at how beautiful the plan looked and how they were able to work in the things we didn't want to change (like our pool). They've worked with as we've changed our minds and made suggestions when we needed to lower the cost on a few things. Their creativity and expertise has shone through in every conversation and we couldn't be more happy that we've chosen Western Outdoor Designs.

Our project was a remodel of our backyard including installing pavers, a new trellis, and a complete remodel of our pool. Western Outdoor Designs was truly a wonderful group to work with. Michelle and Vince did a fabulous job helping us through the initial stages of design, budgeting, and project scope. They even made us a 3-D model of our project. Their showroom was a great place to see of the finish options. Jesus was the onsite project manager and it was a pleasure working with him and all his hard-working guys. Jesus always made sure that we were always updated on the progress and the schedule. The installation is still underway, but everything looks amazing! I highly recommend this company and we would definitely use them again.

We used Western pavers to design and build the backyard of our dreams. Our job was a large one with a pool, waterslide, multiple firepits, a pergola and lots of hardscape and plantings. It was very easy to work with Michelle. We found her to be kind, professional and diligent (not to mention talented). Vince is an artist with fantastic designs and a lot of knowledge regarding what is possible/realistic to achieve. The building process was very long, however we felt that the job was done well and are very satisfied with the results. Matt was very attentive to concerns during the building process and always got back to us promptly. We found the work crews to be very hard-working, talented and respectful. Overall, we would recommend Western Pavers for a design/build job.

The planning team, Michelle Page & Joe Garcia, were phenomenal! They are enthusiastic about my yard project and a beautiful plan for my front yard and created a functional & gorgeous plan for backyard outdoor covered area. The colors they helped me choose were muted and blended with facade on the house; the plants all added a pop of color and made the hardscape come alive. I can’t wait to start my project and so look forward to the finished project.

We spent months searching for and interviewing outdoor design companies before happening upon Western which we chose almost immediately simply because they were obviously the professionals were seeking. No slick sales folks, just down to earth pros who are most interested in delivering what the customer wants instead of what they want. Jim Conrady is First Class and knows the business as does their certified architect, Greg Wysong. And the facility with the screening room allows one to actually see an accurate rendition of the proposed project. We are just starting a backyard project--pavers in the back and a xeriscape garden in the front. Greg came up with a great design. The 3D rendering made it easy to visualize what the finished product will look like. Greg listened to our ideas and needs and was happy to incorporate them into the design.

I'm thrilled with the design that Greg has put together. It's all built in a 3D model that lets you see what the final result will be (day and night) and the pricing is very a la carte. Both of these things make it easy to tweak your design to get exactly what you want and to zero in exactly on your budget. Their showroom is also great for seeing all your options in real life. Construction hasn't start yet but I will update when the project is complete. So far, highly recommended.

I met with Craig Anderson last September and he drew up a very fair contract. The work was started in November and finished one day ahead of schedule in early January. Our project manager Derek Stuki was excellent. The whole staff was very kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend visiting the showroom in North San Diego. The pavers and putting green work was top notch. Western Pavers was always responsive and returned my phone calls and emails promptly. When I look out at my backyard, I love it more each day thanks to Western Pavers.

The Western Team repaired my driveway and created a small walk way on our side yard. It looks great and we are very happy with the workers. we were able to go into their showroom and pick all the colors we wanted.

Western Outdoor were very experienced with the installation of pavers. From planning to design to execution, the company did a pretty good job overall. A little more attention to details and plant selection would have given them that last star.

We were referred to Western Outdoor Design by a friend who had recently had her backyard redone with pavers and a pergola. They did a beautiful job on hers, and they have done a beautiful job on our remodel. Our landscape architect, Dan Lewis recommended Western Pavers to install our landscaping project. It was very involved and we were on a limited time schedule. After our initial meeting, we were presented with a very thorough contract and time schedule for completion, wow! From start to finish this installation was done in a thorough and professional manner. Brad Tucker was our project manager. He was involved in every facet of the work making sure that we were satisfied with the outcome. During the course of the installation we made a few changes. These changes did not interrupt their schedule at all. In fact, when changes were made Brad presented us with addendum‘s to our original contract. This was something I particularly appreciated. Easy to work with designers that were open to suggestion. High grade materials and workmanship. The workmen were skilled and friendly. They cleaned up at days end. Lack of communication between foremen caused some delays waiting for material delivery.

We needed to fix/remodel our backyard, side, and front entry. After calling numerous companies that either did not show, didn't follow up with a quote, or didn't include our original ideas, we were connected with Clint Cruz from Western Pavers. It has been an awesome experience and today every time we look at the yard, it brings a smile to our faces and our hearts. Clint was so considerate of our budget and our needs, offering us different options and viewpoints throughout the project as needed. Other companies threw out our opinions, while Clint took these basic concepts and pulled them into a stunning design. You could see his excitement and care, as he continued to help us throughout the project. He was attentive to what we needed (e.g. low maintenance, safe for dogs, etc.) and made sure to include and guide us in decisions. Clint was always there to answer questions and keep his team on track. The work crews were skilled, respectful of our family and neighbors, always showed up on time, and worked hard. Our project included demolition of concrete, running electrical for new lighting, revamping of the irrigation system, hardscape, and softcape. For a small yard it was a great deal of work. However, it was easy to trust Clint as his professionalism and expertise managed this project successfully from start to finish. It is difficult to describe in words how ecstatic we are with the yard, and how grateful in our decision to go with Clint and his team at Western Pavers. Our new back yard is a place where we are proud to entertain and it makes us so cheerful to look outside every day. This is the best experience we have had on a project and we are thankful that Clint was our project manager. Our project was for a complete overhaul of our 3,000-square-foot front, back, and side yard from designs drawn up by an independent designer. We paved and added multiple walls and tiers to most of our backyard and re-landscaped, planted, and mulched the rest. In the front, we added a new paved path and steps, repaved our driveway, and re-landscaped, planted, and mulched the rest. It was a big undertaking that took around 5 months. Western Pavers was great--the best contractor we've ever worked with. We made some changes along the way and there were a few minor issues, but all were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our supervisor was Matt--he'd been the supervisor on a friend of ours' remodel and I can't speak highly enough of him. Patient, always available, laid back but also detail oriented, and very knowledgeable. The paving crew was led by Rudolfo and they were terrific--taking our design and turning it into something beautiful. The landscaping crew were led by Felipe and were also very good. If I were doing another job like this, I'd call them immediately. Excellent.

Western Outdoor Designs (Western Pavers) just finished an amazing job remodeling our backyard. Joe Trinh worked with us to get everything we wanted in the budget that we could afford. Then, Dan Lewis created an incredible design for our small space; he really paid attention to our likes and avoided our dislikes. Clint Cruz and his teams ultimately completed the job to our satisfaction and ahead of schedule. Western Pavers honored all their promises and warranties for a few plants that did not survive the transition. They even went above and beyond to take care of damage caused to the pavers by other workers installing some unrelated equipment. We love hanging out and enjoying our beautiful new backyard. Recently Western Pavers, as contracted, replaced our concrete driveway with cobblestone pavers. Working with this company was the very best experience I have ever had with a construction company. The entire crew was proficient, pleasant to work with and very helpful. We have completed our backyard renovation with Western Pavers & Black Rock Pools back in June of 2015, and we couldn't be any happier with the results. We have a small backyard that we weren't using anymore because of the layout. We wanted to start over and build an outdoor living space with a pool and a low maintenance backyard that we could enjoy all year round. Western Pavers joined with Black Rock Pools helped us design the space, and came up with a solid plan to utilize every inch of our backyard and had great recommendations for the layout. We worked with Joe Trinh, Clint Cruz & Dan Lewis from Western Pavers and Dan Dougherty from Black Rock Pools to build our outdoor paradise. The end result was exactly what we wanted. Western Pavers & Black Rock Pools crews worked very hard, and their attention to detail was superior. Western Pavers & Black Rock Pools customer service was outstanding and they always responded to texts messages and calls, Clint (from Western Pavers) and Dan (from Black Rock Pools) would come by to check on the progress, and all of the crews would also make recommendations and modifications to the plan where need. Also, they would stay longer hours to hit the promised timetable that was committed to us , so we could have family over for swimming and Bar B-Qs before the summer months would hit. In the last three years,we have used Western Pavers twice for hardscape and landscape at our home in Oceanside. The original work was to design and construct a back yard, which included pavers, patio cover, plants and water fall. Three years later we used Western Pavers to do some additional paving in the backyard. This second job, that was just completed, was managed by Victor Camacho, the Project Manager. He was there to answer all my questions and make sure the job was completed professionally and on time. Western pavers has a very professional team, starting with their landscapers that work at the job sight, continuing to middle management and above. Western Pavers provides a written contract and warranty that they stand behind. They have demonstrated this to me, by always being there to answer my concerns. Director Joe Trinh personally worked with me to make sure I was happy with all aspects of the work that Western Pavers has performed over the past years.

Clint (and David while Clint was on medical leave) was a fantastic project manager. He responded to phone calls/texts promptly and was very professional. He and his crew were experts and had great solutions to problems that arose. He went above and beyond to assure that the job was completed and done well. I would definitely refer Clint and his team for any landscape project. Issues that we had with Western Pavers: Joe, the sales guy was way too pushy and clearly liked high pressure sales. Dan was a great designer and a very likeable person...however, the two of them together made several mistakes and we ended up paying for them in the end both in price and design (again pushy sales and high prices to unaesthetically "fix" issues that should not have been overlooked in the first place). Many of the plants died, more than they figured would, and the 30 day warranty didn't suffice.

My family and I wanted to redo our backyard, floor and everything. We decided to go with Western Pavers, and we couldn't have made a better decision! Our floor turned out beautiful, we are extremely happy with the results. The manager Matt Springer was a really good guy to work with. He's easy going, and always on-time with his projects. He answered our questions without leaving anything out, and he was always straight-forward with us. We really recommend Western Pavers. Their price is great, and the result is greater.

My wife and I selected Western Outdoor Designs to both design and build a complete backyard makeover. We knew from the first meeting with Vince and Joe at our home that they were professionals in their skill. They were observant, meticulous and well informed on both design elements, our personal style, building codes and materials. Once we arrived at a design and signed the contract, work began just a few days later. Although the project duration was longer than expected due to various delays from weather, inspections and the normal shuffling of crews between jobs. I have to say that the Project Manager, Matt as well as several of the crew leads were a pleasure to work with and continued to work hard to ensure the best outcome by correcting or enhancing design elements on-the-fly during the build-out phase which would have been difficult to identify and plan on paper and much more difficult to do afterwards. The numerous build teams worked well together and there was a general plan on what work would occur each week. Our project was slated for 9 weeks and it was actually completed in 13 weeks. The results are amazing. We are very impressed with the attention to detail on the irrigation system and planting plan for water conservation as well as the lighting and exact detail and consistency in the cuts and placement of the pavers and curved retaining wall. With all that said, I know our project was one of the smaller projects for Western Outdoor Designs but they treated us as though we were no less important. I would hire them again without hesitation.

Western Outdoor Designs transformed our front yard! We weren’t sure what we wanted, but we knew we wanted a change, so we called Western Outdoor Designs. This was our second large project with the company, and working with Joe and his team was another great experience! They turned our front yard into a gorgeous, welcoming environment quickly, efficiently and most importantly, expertly. Joe was available to meet during all stages of the makeover. Bill, our landscape designer, was knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. He knows the climate, the growing seasons and had superb suggestions for plants—taking into account water usage, native wildlife and our color palate. Victor, our project manager, was wonderful! He answered all our questions and made himself available for any concerns that arose. He kept a clean work site and was genuinely a pleasure to work with. It was a large project, involving the removal of tons of old concrete and replacing the entire walkway and steps. Old vegetation was removed and new plants and lighting now grace our walkway. Joe has a great vision and made many insightful suggestions and we are so happy with our new renovated front entrance!! We enthusiastically recommend Joe and his team for any job, big or small. They are awesome!

We absolutely love our new synthetic lawn and pavers! We chose a very high quality lawn and I feel it's one of the best home improvement choices we have made to date. Even our dog loves it! The design crew did an outstanding job making sure we were completely satisfied with the stepping stone placement and were very patient with us as we decided. Western Outdoor Design had no problem handling our deadline that we set and were overall very professional and courteous.. I love knowing it will look just as great in years to come as it does right now... and with no maintenance!

I couldn’t be more pleased. Western Pavers transformed my landscape from what I characterized as “contemporary ghetto” (or “modern slum”) into a beautiful, breath-taking, paradise oasis. I had interviewed 4 companies and chose Western Pavers, I initially spoke with Craig Anderson. He had great design ideas. He sketched a design, presented the costs involved, presented a payment schedule, and just seemed like he really knew his stuff. I signed the contract in October 2014. My project started on Jan. 6, 2015 and was completed on Feb. 12, 2015 (about 5 weeks). Once the job started, there was someone at my home, on the job, every single day until the job was completed. There was no “job-hopping” from one job to another. Clint Cruz was the project coordinator and he directed the operations of the project like a music conductor directs an orchestra. Not a note was missed. I want to convey special thanks to all the guys who participated in this project. The demolition crew (Enrique, Josh, and Tino) were amazing. These guys do hard, back-breaking, physical labor every single day and really deserve recognition for the work they do. The paving crew (Felix, Dorteo, Jesus, and Yobanni) were nothing short of spectacular. With their paving & brick work experience, they transformed my yard into a work of art. These guys were just phenomenal and deserve extra special recognition. The landscape crew (Two Oscars and others whose names I didn’t get) installed the drainage & irrigation systems, installed new irrigation valves, and planted the plants from the plant pallette selected by Bill Rickman. And finally, the turf crew (Santiago, Victor, Jaime, and others whose names I didn’t get, who expertly installed the turf. All did a fantastic job. They worked hard, arriving at my home around 8am and not leaving until dark. Everyone involved with the project was courteous, diligent, hard-working, and well qualified. This is a fantastic company! We have hired them on a previous, smaller, project and were very satisfied with the process and the result. After moving and requiring completely new design with landscaping, hardscaping, pool and pool house, we interviewed Western Outdoor Designs again as well as a few other companies. Although their estimate was not the lowest, it was not much higher than others and was more complete than what we saw with others. Also, we felt that we knew what we were getting since we had worked with them previously. They did not disappoint! They stuck to the initial plans and prices, only making changes that we agreed to as the project developed. They were very flexible in our needs as we changed minor details throughout the project. We never felt "nickel and dimed" with additional costs and the crew supervisors were easy to talk to - and they actually listen to what you have to say! All in all, we could not recommend them highly enough!!

WesternPavers removed 100 yards of asphalt from my driveway and replaced with a beautiful customized paved driveway. I was very pleased with the design process, excution and timeliness in completing a very large project. The paved driveway makes our house look spectacular. They agreed to a price and deadline for the project and they stuck to it. I highly recommend them.
