Taryn Tree is the owner of Treehouse Landscape Design, a landscape design and consulting business opened since 2003, providing landscape installation services as a licensed California Contractor. Offering beautiful custom designs with 20+ years of experience in the design and horticulture industry, Taryn has successfully helped hundreds of homeowners make their house their "home". Taryn has a deep-rooted passion for design that is demonstrated in all facets of her work as she captures the hearts of her clients and produces what her clients want. She has drawn plans and put in many beautiful landscapes throughout California. Taryn has worked and studied in the landscape industry since 1993. In 2000, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, and a minor in Business Management. Taryn takes great pride in her knowledge of plants and design, and is committed to producing high quality work using the best standards and methods. She continues her education by attending landscape conventions and educational seminars to keep up with the latest trends, materials, and methods. Taryn has been woking with me for about 2 years now. She started with a design for my property for a major landscape overhaul. She cares a lot about the end result and making sure you're happy with the design. Several flowers I wanted were hard to find but she will keep checking all of her sources until she can get what you need. My property has been transformed based on her designs and recommendations and I now use her services for routine maintenance and new flowers based on the season.

A Wins

We hired Treehouse Landscape Design to help us replace an underused lawn into a drought resistant garden. Taryn was great to work with - she listened to our preferences and came up with a great design that was less water, lovely to look at and within our budget. She was also our contractor for the actual work, which made it easy for us, and was able to accommodate a couple of last minute changes. Overall we are very happy with the results and are looking forward to enjoying the space for years to come.

We hired Taryn to design and draw plans for an eyesore of a backyard. Before photos attached. We also wanted to separate guest house from the yard and create a back patio for it. We took out a lawn that only the gophers were enjoying. She designed a magical space. She recommended Miguel Linares who did the hard scape. I had my own gardener plant because he's good and I wanted him to have ownership in the project since he would be tending it. I couldn't be happier with the results all the way around. The majority of the plants are drought tolerant and the garden is host to hummingbirds, butterflies and birds I have never seen before. Thanks, all!

Taryn listened to my suggestions and incorporated them in her design. I liked the fact that she collaborated with me through every phase of the project. The final result superseded my wildest imagination and became the talk of the neighborhood.

My raywood ash tree was kind of sickly upon arrival, but other than that I had a great experience. Taryn provided me some real good advice and motivation to make my back yard what I really wanted it to be.

Taryn provided a clean, professional plan that we have enjoyed immensely for the last 8 years. Our backyard is the envy of our small town, and we have housed several events here at the request of friends for their special occasions. We live in the desert, so the most frequent comment is that our backyard does not look like the desert at all but a lush garden instead. This is even more impressive since the entire landscape requires very little water because of the excellent choice in plants Taryn provided. We are moving soon and will certainly miss our yard the MOST!

Taryn was the landscape architect who designed and supervised the installation of drought tolerant landscaping and a drip irrigation system at our home. She developed a very detailed color plan and corresponding budget for our review. Upon acceptance, she supervised the work from start to finish. We are thrilled with the results and can honestly say that the appearance of the landscaping has exceeded our expectations. It should also be noted that the work was done on time and on budget. Taryn has also been available to us for continuing consultations after the completion of the project which has been very helpful as we are doing much of the maintenance ourselves. We would highly recommend Taryn to anyone who is considering a landscaping project and is looking for a talented, caring and responsive professional to oversee it. After our house burned in December 2017 we hired Taryn to work with our contractor on the landscape design for the new home. She did an amazing job! The new design meets all of the city's requirements for drought tolerance and fire resistance. It is also beautiful, detailed and incorporates all of the features that we were looking for. Besides being a true professional and very creative landscape designer, Taryn is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

I have worked with Taryn as a consultant for drought tolerant plants for Cerro Coso Community College, we asked Taryn to build a plan for future outdoor study/relaxing space. The criteria was to make the space inviting and drought tolerant. Taryn provided us a plan that met both of these requirements. We haven't developed the plan yet because of other work going on in the space we identified for her project. We look forward in developing the plan in the near future. Taryn is very easy to work with, she listened to what our wishes were and then developed a plan from the conversations. I wish she was still located in our valley I would call on her expertise on a regular basis.
