The landscaping was the final stage of my 3 year renovation of my 1957 Vinings GA ranch styled house. I’d collected several photos and even had pictures of the new mid-century front door for John Barry to see. I’d talked to 2 others landscape architects but John was the only one that really “got it”. I couldn’t be more pleased with how my project turned out. I highly recommend John and his team for a great design and their meticulous installation.

I moved into a basic 1960's ranch with a nonexistent front and back yard. My vision wasn't to have a blah 1960's ranch but rather a cottage with gardens surrounding it. I wanted a place where people would come and immediately feel the warmth and relaxation that a beautiful garden can bring. John outlined the flower beds in a very artistic manner, put perennial plants together in a very English/country garden sort of way and got my dreams to become a reality all within my budget. I will HIGHLY recommend John to work with anyone in need of a makeover!

Working with John has been a fantastic, iterative, process. Once the Plan was developed, he continued to "stop by" and answer questions relative to the overall process. Both Plans, front & sides, were self installed. We tweaked plants and hardscape on a continual basis to suite my wants/needs. Finally, John took the time to understand exactly what we wanted to incorporate into our project! AWESOME....

We selected John Barry to help us rejuvenate our 20+ year old landscape based on numerous recommendations and photos of completed design projects. John is a delightful person and was so easy to talk to about what we wanted to see in our design plan. The landscape plan John created is everything we asked for and more! His extensive landscape design knowledge and creativity shine through in our plan! He is such a gifted designer. Can't wait to implement the design with John and his team. Barry Design Build is amazing! We could not be happier with his latest landscape and hardscape install at our house. John is so talented and a pleasure to work with. He is upfront concerning costs and delivers on schedule. John was on site and involved during all parts of the install. He and his team always answered our concerns and questions. They even fixed our drainage problem we have had for 27 years in the back yard. We love our new fire pit patio area, landscaping, sod install etc... I am so fortunate Barry Design Build was referred to me by yet another happy client who is an acquaintance of mine. We look forward to working with Barry Design Build on even more landscaping projects in the future! I highly recommend! Patti Rogers

John Barry transformed our yard into a show place that is the envy of our neighbors! We started in the back yard, and then added other areas over a period of five years, until we were finished. The landscape design is easy to maintain and provides year-round color. I recently hired Mr. Barry to complete a design for my entire property . He did an excellent job and was very creative. He brought great ideas that I would've never even thought up I would definitely recommend him . He was also able to give me pricing scenarios on the work suggested. Which really help us come up with a design that was doable. We were very pleased.
