In addition to being a skilled designer, who easily adapts her style to fit a wide range of client needs, she is warm and friendly, all while being clear about her vision for each piece she has designed. She has a keen eye for detail and is quick to roll up her sleeves to see her vision realized. I very much look forward to working with Lara and Storm Interiors again.

Lara was great to work with and really has an eye for designing beautiful spaces. She took great care to work with the client to develop a comprehensive vision of the space on completion and ensured that the space was extremely well balanced, despite being challenged with making sure everything would work together as the client had some very specific must haves. She was always professional, available and ready to help and address issues that arose during the construction process as well. We are so glad we found Lara and her team at Storm Interiors! Lara listened well during our initial meeting and found the perfect balance between fulfilling our design wishes and practicality needs but also opening our eyes to the artistic possibilities. Now our home is exactly in the style we wanted but with additional beauty that we could have never imagined! We are thrilled with my family room and dining room, in addition to the master bath and a revamped kitchen. We had never worked with a designer before, and were immensely impressed with Lara’s design knowledge, professionalism, and determination (it took us quite a long time to decide on a rug). The people she hired for the upholstery and drapes were top notch. She problem-solved magnificently when we had to rethink a lighting issue. Most importantly, Lara guided us slightly outside our comfort zone, so that my rooms truly reflect my family’s personality and lifestyle, yet have a designed, pulled together look we could never have imagined. We had originally thought that we could handle the design process ourselves, but in hindsight nothing could have been further from the truth - the rooms sparkle with contrast but are part of a cohesive design which resonates throughout the entire home. We went with Storm Interiors because when we visited a friends’ newly remodeled house we were amazed with the work they had done. We hired Storm and the mix of colors and textures that they brought into our home made it just perfect. They were also able to incorporate many of the pieces that we bought and that didn’t belong before they came in to help. Will hire them again when we are ready to do other areas of our house. Lara and her staff are great to work with. She is really able to understand what we want and design something that is beautiful, elegant and functional. It really has been a collaborative project that has been ongoing for the past year. Everything from vendors, to craftsmen to installation is taken care of by them and I appreciate their level of work and service. Highly recommended for any project.

Lara has a beautiful eye for detail and an impressive ability to design a room to her client's individual needs and taste. I hired her twice. First, she redesigned the entry way and hall in my home. Second, she tackled the dining room. Both times, she was able to incorporate furnishings that were sentimental to me while completely overhauling the look and feel of my home with fabric, wallpaper, custom furniture and lighting. Both rooms have a beachy-Chinoiserie style that is incredibly comfortable and inviting. Lara is easy to work with and she has a good crew of subcontractors that worked quickly and efficiently to finish the jobs. We couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Lara Fishman of Storm Interiors was a godsend to me and my husband when we were building, designing and furnishing our new house. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable and very fun to work with. It can be quite overwhelming when building a house, but Lara made the experience so enjoyable. We live in Los Angeles and knew we wanted a Hampton/Cape Cod design house and worked with a contractor we knew and liked his work. He and Lara got along beautifully and they created a house way beyond our expectations in every way. Lara designed amazing ceilings in all the rooms and unique flooring, even in the bathrooms. Both my husband and I come from traditional families and love the family antiques and furniture that we treasure, but we wanted to branch out and include furnishings and some designs more contemporary at the same time. Lara loved doing this and found amazing pieces of furniture and decor that work so well together. She has an amazing eye for interesting colors, textures and design. We couldn't recommend working with Lara Fishman at Storm Interiors any more highly!

We used Storm Interiors to design our new home in Los Angeles in 2014. They developed an teriffic interior plan, worked well with our contractor and helped us with all finishing touches like window covering, furniture and decorations. My favorite thing that Storm did for our house was create a stunning ceiling design. Each room has a unique and interesting ceiling giving the house a great custom quality and feel. Lara and her team at Storm Interiors are extremely personable, professional and creative. We would highly recommend Storm for all your interior design needs.
