“I have used this company a few times now for plumbing and heating. Originally I had an unusual problem with some mould in a pipe leading to the shower and the original installer had been no help in resolving it so I went to Essex Heating and Solar. The owner assured me it could be fixed and gave me a competitive quote to do the work and to supply and install some new, warmer radiators, including a designer one. On the day of the job, the pipe was cut out of the wall quickly, without fuss and replaced and within minutes a plasterer arrived and the wall was plastered and made to look like new. I was very impressed with the professionalism and resourcefulness of the company. Earlier this year I decided to get a new boiler as my 6 year old one was nothing but trouble. I wanted a good quality one which would last this time and they have now fitted me with a Worcester Bosch with a 7 year guarantee. They moved the boiler from the kitchen to the garage which involved additional gas pipes and water pipes. All the work was done very neatly and professionally and where they removed the old boiler they even matched new bricks to my house, to fill the hole in the wall. I would definitely use the company again. I like the fact that the company is big enough that they have the resources to do quality work quickly but they are still a family run business who are approachable. When I first called them out, I was struggling to find someone reliable and I had also been disillusioned with bathroom installers I had been in enquiries with. The owner then promised me that they could build me the bathroom that I wanted. Their other company, Essex Bathrooms and Kitchens have since gone on to do that and I have an amazing, quality bathroom which I love.”
