Since 1972, Yorkville Design Centre has been an exclusive Downsview Kitchens dealer and leader in residential, commercial and retail interior design & architecture. From our Downsview Kitchens Toronto showroom in Yorkville Village, the team at Yorkville Design Centre assists you with your design needs as a designer of kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, media rooms and more, including space planning and architecture. Depending on your specific needs using Downsview Kitchens cabinetry, our team at YDC is able to custom design for you. Design Process We book a consultation with you to go over your space planning needs in either a new build or renovation and then measure and draw up conceptual ideas for your new space in 3D. We bring the ideas into CAD and prepare accurate quotes for our Downsview Kitchens cabinets based on our consultation with you and the design we create. You can engage additional services from Yorkville Design Centre when you purchase your cabinets from us. Then we also provide you with interior design services to finish the space including shopping for the right products and periodically reviewing completion of the envisioned design. Products Downsview Kitchens cabinetry, countertops, backsplashes, hardware, lighting, plumbing fixtures, appliances, wall coverings, windows, flooring, trim details, molding details.

We worked with Alissar and Thomas to create our dream kitchen. They were both wonderful to work with. They listened to what we needed (and wanted) and came up with gorgeous design ideas. Once we chose a design and began the process, we wanted to step out of the process and let the professionals handle the details. Alissar, who managed our project, was the perfect project manager. She "got us" and our aesthetic right from the start by really looking at the style of our existing house. She matched a gorgeous kitchen with an older house seamlessly. She was easy to talk to and work with. She was always available, quick to respond to questions and issues that arise when installing a new kitchen. She knew the contractor well and had a great relationship with the tradesmen--and they all worked as a team. They whole process from idea to install was seamless for us and we are thrilled with our new kitchen. We have another project in the house and I want Yorkville Design Centre and Alissar and Thomas to help us again.

Thomas and his team at Yorkville Designs- were fabulous! It can be intimidating and daunting starting a new kitchen or home from scratch. We came with photos, magazine tear sheets and our hopes and best wishes! Thomas and his firm- Yorkville Designs made it a great, collaborative- process. He is a professional who was interested most of all, in giving us good service, design and the benefit of his excellent taste and experience. My partner Lisa and I were able to improve our concept, through collaboration with Thomas. We now have a kitchen (the Heart of our home) that exceeded our expectations. He and his team put our plans on their proprietary software which was better than the architects, to help us with the 'vision'. This helped us immensely with our project beyond his scope of work. He was just interested in us getting the very best result, for all of us, on this journey- that we actually took together.

We have worked with Viktoriya Dacosta at Yorkville Design on two major projects: a complete renovation of our kitchen plus main floor, and our master bathroom. Our experience has been excellent! Viktoriya is very professional, calm, creative, and enjoyable to work with, and the team at Downsview did an amazing job of the cabinetry and installation. We would ask for help again from Viktoriya and her team the next time we renovate!

We have had the privilege of working with the team at Yorkville Design Centre, headed by Thomas Tampold. They undertook the task of redesigning our entire house and transforming it completely into a beautiful home. During the 2 year renovation, we noticed the attention the team paid to every little detail. Thomas and David Neff - the interior decorator worked tirelessly to create something that catered to our taste. They have been the most professional team and while people talk about nightmare experiences dealing with contractors, they were able to recommend one of the finest contractors - Luciano Battiston, who provided us with the best crew to work on our home. It with a great sense of pride that we acknowledge the tremendous efforts of all the hard work put in by the team at Yorkville Design and Luciano and his crew, from the very first stage of coming up with the first set of drawings to the completion of our beautiful home. In 2014 my husband and I bought a condo in Toronto that needed a complete refurbishment. We decided to take a look at Downsview Kitchens in Yorkville to see what they had to offer by way of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. They had much more to offer than just that. We were introduced to Thomas, David and their very talented architectural and interior design team at Yorkville Design Centre. They were a smaller company that offered professional, personalised service, while respecting our budget and design intent; there was an instant connection. (Please note- Downsview Kitchens and Yorkville Design Centre are in the same office.) We hired YDC to do our design and interiors. On time and well priced, we kept adding the responsibilities which they executed professionally. David personally drove me to meet with various suppliers for finishes and lighting. They recommended contractors and assisted with the bid process. We hired YDC to act as our project managers as we travelled frequently. Our kitchens, bathrooms, and closets were all Downsview. Our design and interiors was Yorkville Design Centre, and our construction contract was with Battiston Constructon. All coordinated from start to finish by Thomas, David and their team. Our dated condo was transformed into a modern home. I would highly recommend working with YDC.
