We've had Barbara Miller and Yes Spaces do several projects for us. Our home was custom built in 1970 but is in dire need of many updates. We decided to tackle these projects one at a time over a span of several years. In 2009, she redecorated our kid's playroom. Barbara interviewed both of our children to find out what kind of playroom they wanted. It made them feel included in the process and we ended up with a very fun room. It was exactly what our family wanted. We had an indoor swing put in for reading with brightly colored homemade pillows and a puppet theater along with a stage that was also a very cool couch with curtains (made by Barbara) surrounding it. We had a low budget for this project and she came in well under what we could spend. In the spring of 2014 we asked Barbara to come up with a design for our galley kitchen remodel which included our laundry room and powder room. Barbara came up with a brilliant design to remove one of the walls in the hallway and open up the space. She was readily available by phone and e-mail and was with us 100% when we needed her advise from cabinet choices, hardware for the cabinets, tile choices for backsplash and floor and countertops. Remodeling without her would have been overwhelming. She was very gracious and professional in working with our contractor and his subcontractors. Her calm demeanor and expertise in design and decor puts her in a rare league of highly skilled and talented professionals. This project was over six months long and she was with us every step of the way. Our new kitchen is stunning. It is like living in a new home. In 2015 we are hiring her again to help us with a bathroom remodel and some decorating.

Remodeling our master bedroom and en suite was a pleasure. There were moments when things did not go as planned, and like all remodels, you find surprises when you open up walls and floors in an older home. What could have been a failed experience turned into a real pleasure due to our interior designer, Yes Spaces. Yes Spaces’ experience took these unexpected obstacles and turned them into solutions that fit into the design and budget. Barbara Miller incorporated all of our needs and wants into a brilliant design, and delivered a space that in every way exceeded our expectations. Barbara worked closely with the builder from start to finish creating a three way dialogue that kept us informed at every step along the process, giving us plenty of opportunity to participate in the nuances that arise during construction. Upon completion, our new master suite is our Oasis. What impressed us the most was Barbara’s incredible sense of space. She looked at how we live and took the space we have and turned that space into a perfectly orchestrated space for movement, living and storage. The space is amazing to look at, the architectural details are perfect, and the flow works perfectly. In looking at the other work Yes Spaces has done and the finished product of our master suite, you can see that Barbara has impeccable taste in style, colors and architecture. For our 2nd remodeling project, we have again engaged Yes Spaces as our designer/architect, and look forward to another engaging, exciting experience as our house is transformed into our home.

We are a busy family of four -- mom, dad and teenage boys. In 2007 we bought a home that was about 10 years old and in need of updating. Barbara has been a huge help in making this house our home. Initially she spent time with us to understand how we live. She listened carefully to our needs and then recommended everything from paint color (inside and out) to carpet to wall hangings that have been "just right" for our family. She has continued to work with us since the initial re-do and we have been very pleased with each project, including a YES! Space bathroom remodel for our boys. Barbara is creative, thrifty and professional in all ways.

I have had the pleasure of working with Barbara on a couple of fun projects for my business; recently we designed and organized my office. With Barbara's keen eye to details and her instincts to see and hear what I needed, she transformed my office to exactly what I wanted. It's very organized, a place for everything, its pretty and welcoming. A place I spend a lot of time in with pleasure. I love it's ambiance. Barbara stayed on budged, found some great deals and fun furniture to add character too. I can't wait till we start working on my photography studio in February.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Barbara for several years, and in March 2013 we got to experience her work firsthand when she dsigned our dining room. Barbara is a consummate professional. She has a keen eye for colors and a vision of how a room should look, but more importantly, how it should feel. Our dining room was transformed from bland and dysfunctional, into a space our whole family can use. Barbara and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with.
