We have enjoyed the opportunity to do landscape plans for Sherburne-Marrs Designers Builders. Every home has been beautiful and the team is professional and easy to work with, as well as being prompt with getting back to us with any answers or information that we need.

This is our second remodeling experience in the past five years but it was quite different in that we currently live in Portland, Oregon and the house we were remodeling was in Eagle, Idaho so the circumstances were quite different logistically. We began with a layout of the existing house plans and added the changes that we expected to make with the remodel. Once this was in place, the next task at hand was to find a general contractor that could implement the remodeling that we wanted to our satisfaction. Several general contractors were referred to us which we met on site with the preliminary plans in hand to discuss and interview. The first two we interviewed we concluded would not be able to satisfy our expectations so we continued to look. I reached out to the Banbury Home Owner’s Association and received a list of general contractors of which Jared Sherburne was one of the recommended general contractors. I researched online on our own and talked with other homeowners that had projects ongoing nearby in the Banbury subdivision. After exhaustive reviews of permits that are available on line we interviewed Jared Sherburne on site and with the preliminary plans we had. He seemed like a good fit for us so we proceeded to put a deposit down and moved forward. Jared’s estimate was higher than others we interviewed but my wife and I are both busy people and do not have time to be dealing personally with issues that might come up so we were prepared to pay a reasonable price for high expectations with little intervention on our own. This was more relevant than under normal circumstances since we would be dealing long distance regarding this project and it was extremely important that we had a general contractor that would have our backs and take care of any issues that might come up. The proof of the pudding is in empirical observations during the design and construction of the project and I can say unequivocally that we are very pleased with the results. This does not mean that everything went perfectly all of the time which it did not because of the many variables involved regarding timing, supplier deliveries, or whatever the issue might have been. I have always thought that when everything goes perfectly, then you never know how good your contractor was since they were not tested. Any issues that came up on our project were taken care of with no excuses given and with minimal intervention on our part and with the results that we expected. The photos I took of the roofline and exterior of the house returned positive comments that the house did not appear to be remodeled and was built that way from the very beginning. A testament to a job well done by Jared and this team! Jared has a core team of four people with Jared the team leader who sets the standard for professional courtesy, attitude, workmanship, and attention to detail with customer satisfaction as the finished goal. I would recommend Jared and his team for any project, but homeowners that have large projects would benefit the most as his team can take on large scale projects effectively, on time and on budget. As detailed as they are with getting the project done well, Jared is an extremely organized person and keeping on schedule is paramount to him and he does this extremely well with good planning and scheduling.

They listened to our needs and desires and helped design the house of our dreams. Researched our ideas with us to accomplish energy efficiency and a well sealed home. Used high quality materials, chose his sub contractors well and managed a well-kept job site. On schedule, in budget, willing to work with us on design changes. We will recommend them highly!

As a first time home builder I went in with no previous experience. I soon found out that the experience I was having with Sherburne-Marrs was exceptional to others I spoke to. Jared was on my lot nearly every day to review the work. At my disposal to answer any questions or concerns I had during the build. But the most impressive part is that he still stands behind all his work three years after I've moved in. Anything that's gone wrong or didn't meet his standards he's fixed, replaced or improved. Jared Sherburne and his talented team completed our custom home in late July 2016--and not only is our home beautifully crafted and designed, the Sherburne-Marrs team has been meticulous, professional and delightful regarding every small "tweak" that comprised our punch list. I'm forever grateful for this team's personal attention and the exemplary standards that cannot be rivaled. We truly have a wonderful home.

My husband and I decided to move to Eagle, Idaho over a year ago; we looked for several months at new homes. Each time we looked we seemed to be drawn to Sherburne-Marrs homes. We loved the workmanship, design, quality, and their eye for detail of their homes as compared to others on the market. That's when we decided they were the builders for us. Currently our home is under construction; we have been involved with all the people it takes to build our home from interior designers, electricians, media, etc. and they have been more than accommodating of all our wants and needs. They keep us up to date with photos, which makes it even more exciting to see our dream come to reality.

Jared Sherburne is a client- friendly professional who has spent several years coming up the construction ranks before becoming a consummate general contractor. Although he is very successful and busy he will find the time to help resolve key design issues; and address details important to the discerning eye. Jared has hired and developed a dedicated builder team that will provide valuable assistance throughout every phase of the project time line. This is a first class operation.

The Sherburne-Marrs team work at a level beyond expectation. Their attention to quality and detail is commendable at every level. The design team worked very closely with us from the planning phase to final construction and move-in. They answered every question no matter how trivial. Jared, Rick, Amy, and Desiree were so attentive and gracious every step of the way. Even today, they are willing to help in any way they can. We are satisfied beyond expectation with our beautiful home. I would recommend Sherburne-Marrs to anyone looking to have a custom home built where quality, appearance, and attention to detail is important. Sherburne-Marrs will build you a home you will fall in love with.

We first met Jared Sherburne at a Parade of Homes in one of his homes he had built. He is a very personable, likable, organized, and business-like man and we knew right away that we wanted him to build our home. Jared did build our home and we love it!
